Bin Laden may be dead but, as many have noted, his ideology is still very much alive. Indeed, it landed on our shores long ago. It is now most definitely here.
Women in burqas and in severe hijab are increasingly commonplace as are other more barbaric gender apartheid practices. This includes heartless honor killings.
Twelve-year-old Tyrique Royal is a typical troublemaker whose antics ruin classrooms and schools. After leading a “gang” that launched paper pellets across a classroom, frequently misbehaving during class, “roughhousing” with friends, and calling a skinny girl a “spaghetti noodle,” Tyrique appears likely to be expelled from Brooklyn’s Fahari Academy Charter School, The New York Post reported on April 24.
Tyrique- who was suspended multiple times – was given many chances to improve his behavior, but absolutely failed to do so. So throwing Tyrique and others like him out of school is obviously a “no-brainer,” right? Well, apparently not if you have a leftist brain.
President Obama is basking in the after-glow of the successful operation that led to the demise of Osama bin Laden. As I have said previously, he deserves credit for making the gutsy decision to use a Navy SEAL team to take Bin Laden down. Of course, the lion’s share of the credit belongs to the special operations forces themselves, who overcame immense odds to mount the incredibly risky attack ordered by their commander-in-chief.
However, as President Obama savors the high point of his time in office to date, there are some questions that he needs to answer to the American people. Here are just a few of them.
Osama bin Laden is dead. It feels so good to be able to make that statement after nearly a decade of struggle. And you’ll never guess how we found out key information that led us to him, especially if you’ve followed the narrative of the Left throughout the War on Terror. To explain what allowed our Navy SEALS to be able to send Bin Laden to meet his maker, let’s take a little trip back in time.
Think back with me to the earlier days of the War on Terror. Remember those days, when our president was a reckless cowboy who fought wars for oil and said things like “Bring it on!” and had the gall to stand in front of signs that read “Mission Accomplished” when certain parts of his administration’s missions were actually accomplished?
When President Barack Obama announced to the world that Osama bin Laden was killed by American forces in Pakistan, he made sure to distinguish the Al-Qaeda leader’s career of terror from any religious affiliation.
… the United States is not –- and never will be -– at war with Islam. I’ve made clear, just as President Bush did shortly after 9/11, that our war is not against Islam. Bin Laden was not a Muslim leader;
Conservative talk radio host Bill Cunningham, who was on the air at the time of Obama’s announcement, took the president’s claim further and suggested that Bin Laden was not a Muslim at all. Such remarks are based upon the premise that Islam must be “perverted” or “distorted” in order to justify violence in its name.
