Brutality in Cameroon: The Barbaric Practice of Breast Ironing

2010 July 29

Little girls in Cameroon are being betrayed by their own mothers.  Using piping hot stones, women “iron” their pubescent daughters’ breasts to destroy any visible sign of budding womanhood.  Some of the victims of this torture are as young as nine.

The scars are horrific. read more…

Judge Rules That Christianity Is Indeed No Longer Allowed At Public Universities

2010 July 29

The internet has been buzzing about the story of Jennifer Keeton. She was a student at Augusta State University, trying to get a degree in counseling. An outspoken Christian, Keeton is not supportive of so-called “gay rights.” She was not shy about expressing her biblical perspective on homosexuality both in and out of class, and the university responded by expelling her. They claim that a bias against homosexuality disqualifies her from a certification in counseling, and gave her the option of undergoing a remediation program, complete with gay sensitivity training (read: brainwashing), or expulsion. And so, Keeton sued the school.

No Need For That Pesky Driver’s License Any Longer!

2010 July 28

A decision came down today in the lawsuit pursued by the Obama Administration’s Department of Justice, headed by Eric Holder, against the Arizona Immigration bill SB 1070.  Judge Susan Bolton, a Clinton appointee, issued an injunction blocking several pertinent parts of the new law from going into effect Thursday. According to the Judge, it’s apparently  a no-no for States to enforce federal law, even if the federal government totally sucks at it and can’t do it themselves. The Arizona law was put in place and was, in fact, necessitated primarily by the federal government’s failure to enforce its own, but perhaps some federal laws are just there for show? To trick us all and then just say, “Psych! We really didn’t mean it. Bless your hearts.” So, it seems there are laws and then there are law-laws: read more…

Is Marital Rape a Crime in America or Is It a Muslim Religious Right?

2010 July 28

Yesterday, I wrote about a recent New Jersey appellate decision which reversed a lower court ruling which had refused to grant a battered and maritally raped woman a “final restraining order.” This kind of decision—and worse—is made every day in the American court system, and it exposes battered women and abused children to horrific suffering, terrible danger, even death. read more…

Calling for Another Holocaust: A Canadian Extremist at Large

2010 July 28

A Web host in Arizona struck down the websites of a Canadian extremist calling for the genocide of Jews. GoDaddy removed them after they received a complaint from Canada’s Attorney General Rob Nicholson about vicious anti-Jew content. The site was used by Mississauga’s Salmon Hossain who also encouraged terrorist attacks against the West and cheered on the murders of Western troops in Afghanistan. Back in July the Ontario Provincial Police charged Hossain with promoting genocide against the Jews in the first of a kind such charge in Canada. read more…

Obama and A Moronic Room with a View

2010 July 27

I hate “The View.” I can’t think of anything that I’d like to watch less than a bunch of inane broads, prattling on about their va-jay-jays endlessly while pretending that they are oh so cool and hip. In fact, the entire premise of the show annoys me. “Oh look at us! 4 (or 5) women sitting around talking ! Aren’t we super awesome and daring? Isn’t this bold and unique?”

Um, no.You’ll see the same thing every morning in many households in those “bitter” small towns, after the school bus picks up the kids. Only with real coffee not some chai tea business. And better conversation. And hotter, younger dames. Plus, I am pretty sure that a bunch of old, embarrassingly stupid, unattractive women discussing their “va-jay-jays” is one of the modern day seven signs of the Apocalypse. If not, it should be. The use of the term va-jay-jay is another, I’m certain. What happened to the much more elegant and classy “naughty bits”? Oh, right. Feminists happened. You’ve come a long way, baby!

So anyway, apparently, President Obama has no such qualms. In fact, he finds “The View” preferable to attending the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts. Makes sense, I suppose. I mean, the boy scouts are just a bunch of kids that other people were “punished by.” Plus, it’s all American like apple pie and stuff, which we know he thinks is super icky. read more…

“Normal” Domestic Violence in Morocco is a Crime in the United States

2010 July 27

So sayeth the Superior Court of New Jersey Appellate Division.

On July 31, 2008, a couple was married by arrangement in Morocco when the bride was 17 years old. They moved to Bayonne, New Jersey, where the new husband found work as an accountant. The husband’s mother came to live with them.

On November 1st of that year, “acts of domestic abuse” commenced. The young girl finally called the police who, on November 22, 2008 (three weeks later) were still able to photograph numerous, visible bruises all over her body, including on her breasts. Her first punishment session lasted for one hour, during which time she cried all the time. This did not stop her husband. He said that he was doing this “to correct her.” The second time, he attacked both her breasts and genitalia, including pulling her pubic hair. Her vagina was very red and swollen—and that is when he administered his ultimate “pedagogical” punishment: He raped her. read more…

Cojone-less In Chief Strikes Again. Lockerbie Bomber’s ‘Compassionate’ Release Preferable To Obama

2010 July 26

Last year when the Lockerbie terrorist, Abdul Baset Ali al-Megrahi, was released, freed to die with compassion – a luxury that his innocent, murdered victims did not have -  I thought that I was as angry as I could ever be. I must admit that I was wrong. read more…

The Naomi Wolf Award, Light-Hearted and Playful Burqa Edition

2010 July 26

Elizabeth Lakey used to be one of the unenlightened.  As a student of Islamic Studies at the University of Melbourne, she struggled to understand why any woman would cover herself in a burqa.

Like many people I know, I feel a frisson of doubt whenever I see these shadowy figures entirely covered up. I struggle daily with these feelings in my studies.

But after a chance department store encounter with a Muslim family, Lakey saw how judgmental she was being.  The burqa isn’t just a veil, she realized, it’s also a mobile playground for young Muslim children!  Via my Twitter pal @s_dog comes Lakey’s heartwarming tale of “common humanity” inspired by a pair of strangers in identical black burqas: read more…

Charlie Rangel (D-NY), Epitome of the Most Ethical Congress Ever! Plus, Racism!

2010 July 24

By most ethical Congress ever, I of course mean the total opposite. Much like the claims of the most transparent administration ever – in Obama-era Newspeak terms, you must just assume the opposite to be true. Charlie Rangel, after having been forced, kicking and screaming, to step down as Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee in March, has now been charged with multiple ethics violations by a bipartisan House committee:

The formation of subcommittee, which will consist of four Democrats and four Republicans, is rare. The last time one was convened was in 2002 to handle the case of former Rep. James Traficant, D-Ohio, who was under investigation in connection with bribery, racketeering and tax evasion convictions…

Rangel, D-N.Y., has been under a lengthy probe by the House Committee on Standards of Official Conduct for a series of ethics allegations that includes failing to report hundreds of thousands of dollars in income and assets, improper use of several rent-controlled apartments in his Harlem district, fundraising efforts for a college center that bears his name, and failing to pay taxes on property he owns in the Dominican Republic.

And, guess what? It’s probably racist! Or, it’s the press out to get him (video after the jump). That line of spin is particularly amusing since we now know, thanks to The Daily Caller, that liberal journalists have been conspiring to harm Republicans and aid Democrats.

Mel Gibson Redux

2010 July 24

What’s the point of moving on to any other subject when this one seems to have gripped our nation, the media, and my own readers? Even my family is engaged in this conversation.

Thus—last night, at dinner, my son and daughter-in-law urged me to consider the possibility that the Gibson tapes were doctored, spliced-and-diced; that Grigorieva was probably after money. Indeed, today, the Vancouver Sun reveals that she is, allegedly, under investigation for “extortion.” read more…

Reminder: Nikki Haley is a Secret Muslim Whore

2010 July 24

Robert Ariail's Nikki Haley cartoon

Nikki Haley whupped a whole lotta good ol’ boy ass in the South Carolina GOP gubernatorial primary, trouncing her establishment opponents at the polls and leaving behind a battered pile of the state’s nastiest corruptocrats and sleazebags. And boy are they pissed.

Now, just a month after Haley’s victory, one Republican cartoonist has emerged from his gutter to dredge up the same vile race-baiting and sexism that failed to derail her primary campaign. read more…
