The American citizenry have been called rubes, smelly, racists, fascists, rabble-rousers, insurgent, narrow-minded and xenophobic. Not by the likes of Ahmadinejad (he keeps it short and sweet at ‘Satan’) but by our own governmental and cultural elite. What’s got their cocktail circuit all atwitter?

You, me–us. We’re asserting our constitutional right to disagree with what’s happening to our country.

Instead of rolling over and taking the blows as we’re expected to, citizens are going to town hall meetings and voicing their opinions, and then going one step further–the ballot box. read more…

The Era Who Shagged Me—5 Not-So-Groovy Ways the 60s Is Still Screwing the American Family

2010 September 23

When Vanessa Kensington told Austin Danger Powers her job was to acclimate him from the ’60s to the ’90s, Agent Powers replied:

“…as long as people are still having promiscuous sex with many anonymous partners without protection while at the same time experimenting with mind-expanding drugs in a consequence-free environment, I’ll be sound as a pound!”

While an amusing line about an era that has almost become a caricature in popular culture, it also reflects the darker side of the late 1960s pretty well. But is the modern era any better off? Did the revolutions that rocked the 60s make for a more enlightened American society today? Or are we simply dealing with the consequences of poor choices? Chucking a millenia of societal conventions has not created a freer, more content culture in the new century. Instead we’re more restless and edgy than ever, never satisfied and always drifting to the latest next big thing in hopes of that elusive fulfillment we’ve been promised by the culture at large.

The ’60s told us ‘it’ was about freedom from repression, but the consequences have been more about denial—denying the design of human nature and our place in the world. And the festering sores of free-wheeling choices of the ’60s continue to erupt throughout the nether regions of American Society.

6 Leftist Lies, the U.N. Report on Human Rights and Reality-Let’s Dare to Compare!

2010 September 3

The unprecedented report the Obama Administration submitted to the U.N. High Commissioner detailing the so-called failures of America on human rights is one of the most sickening actions taken by this president. While America is not perfect by any stretch, it still has the best human rights records EVER. That’s right. In the history of the world.

From The Washington Times: “It describes how the United States discriminates against the disabled, homosexuals, women, Native Americans, blacks, Hispanics and those who don’t speak English. There is the expected pandering to Muslims, noting that the government is committed to “challenge misperceptions and discriminatory stereotypes, to prevent acts of vandalism and to combat hate crimes…offenses that the American people evidently keep committing.”Many of the nations in seats of power at the U.N. are thugocracies and Islamic. So to put Obama’s disgraceful document in context, let’s see how that bastion of human rights—Islam—matches up to the United States.

The Top 10 So-Called “Liberal” Hypocrites: Their Lies, Tries, and the Moral of Their Story

2010 August 26

We teach our children to be honest and forthright, to be upstanding and mean what they say, even sometimes using clever idioms to help guide the way. We also understand human beings are prone to moral failures. Hopefully, we are forgiving and supportive to those who fall off the path. But what happens when the some of the most powerful people in America—people who wield serious amounts of influence—are actually willful, two-faced hypocrites? We call ’em on it. read more…

Families Get Squeezed by Big Government

2010 August 24

Ronald Reagan once said “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.'”

That statement used to have an obvious meaning, but all too many Americans actually breathe a sigh of relief and happily cede their rights and authority to the ever power hungry specter of government. There was a time when people kept their government on a short leash. When did the situation become reversed?

Allah In The Family–5 Ways Sharia is Impacting America Right Now

2010 August 21

Omar M. Ahmad, founder of CAIR said,

Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant.

The imam of the Ground Zero mosque has said much the same. Their idea is that U.S. must submit to Sharia Law. For example, that means U.S. laws against the rape of children would mean nothing because Sharia allows men to marry girls as young as nine. read more…
