This may come as a shock to many of you, but when I was about 13 years old I became fascinated by Malcolm X. I read every page of his autobiography that he wrote with Alex Haley. I loved Spike Lee’s film with Denzel Washington’s stirring portrayal of the Nation of Islam leader. I was ready to take some kind of action when I heard Malcolm’s speeches. His favorite phrase, without a doubt, was “by any means necessary.” It became the phrase of Black Power and the rest of the Left would later adopt it.
Actually the true King of “any means necessary” is Saul Alinksy. Every effective leftist has devoted himself to Alinsky’s philosophy of doing whatever it takes to gain political power. As a college student I started studying the Bible and got prideful about my Bible knowledge. I once told a friend who had a Bible with commentary in it that I disagreed with that he should just throw his Bible in the trash. That was a horrible thing to say, but now MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell thinks Glenn Beck and really all Christians should throw away their Bibles. To O’Donnell, only a fool would take Glenn Beck and the Good Book seriously.
O’Donnell, the broke screenwriter turned hack Democrat political adviser, turned Olbermann low-rating replacement, now thinks he is a master theologian and knows what Scripture should be rejected. O’Donnell has picked a fight with Glenn Beck in order to get some attention for himself. Sadly for him, his hubris has taken him too far. read more…

The media sold us all on the Egyptian so-called democracy protests. It would bring peace and a secular government. Christians would not have to fear. All would be well. Those same newsmen might want to revisit Cairo today where a mob of violent Muslims attacked a Christian protest. So far we know at least 13 people were killed and around 150 have been wounded.
Why were the Christians protesting? Last Friday in the village of Sole, just outside of Cairo, local Muslims decided they now had the freedom to burn down the town’s Coptic church. Without a strong Mubarak police force, they had nothing and no one stopping them. After torching the sacred place, the Muslims promised to build a mosque on that very spot (Are you listening Cordoba House/Park 51 supporters?).
On Tuesday thousands of Coptic Christians protested in front of the state-ran television building in Cairo. They carried large wooden crosses and hoped to get the media’s attention of the burning down of their church (the Church of the Two Martyrs). Sadly, soon after, many of the protesters became martyrs.
We were staging a peaceful demonstration for the church, but they attacked us with firearms, stones and Molotov cocktails. -Samia, a Christian protester.
There was a small military force on the scene. Some reports said the military fired into the air in hopes of stopping the violence. But there are Christians who were there claiming the military aided the Muslims in attack by getting out of the way of the Muslims and even firing on the Christians. Most of the Coptics are part of a local trash collectors’ settlement, and the Muslim attackers were apparently allowed by the military to start burning down the homes of the Christians.
The tanks made way for the thugs to come in. There was shooting until two o’clock in the morning. After that they burnt the houses and stole from them. They broke whatever they could not carry away. No fire engines or ambulances came. We had to take the injured to hospital in garbage trucks. – Samia
In the early morning hours of Wednesday the fighting finally stopped as more military moved in.
Much of the mainstream media, possibly as a way to save face for themselves and Muslims, are presenting the story as generic “sectarian violence” or an equal clash between Christians and Muslims. Just read a couple of the headlines:

Somehow if Christians are ruthlessly attacked and some of them try to defend themselves, our press thinks it is equal violence. It would take a lot more than this ruthless attack for the Left to admit they might have been wrong on Egypt. But how much more innocent blood will be spilled? Such violence will sadly spark more violence. Moreover, this new temporary government doesn’t seem too concerned.
Maybe they’re just following our lead.

19 year old girl stabbed to death by brother in 'honor killing'.
If you Google News “sharia” right now you will find a lot of leftist and mainstream media writing about Tennessee being ignorant for considering anti-sharia laws. However, if you change “sharia” to “honor killing” in your search you will quickly realize that as Sharia spreads, so do honor killings. We’ve seen more cases in America lately, and there is a near genocide of women going on in Turkey involving honor killings in pro-sharia communities.
As Turkey tries to gain entry into the European Union, new stats reveal a frightening trend in the treatment of women in the Islamic majority nation. From 2002-2009, which is the most recent data available, cases of women being murdered in Turkey has grown 1,400%. There were 66 known cases in 2002 and 953 in 2009. And the vast majority of these cases are related to Muslim men punishing their wives, daughters, or sisters for shaming their religion. Even worse, other research shows up to 40% of Turkish women have been abused physically or sexually.
Every day there are more horror stories, Hatice Firat is just one of the latest examples. The 19 year old girl ran away from home with her boyfriend about a month ago. Her family eventually located her and convinced her to come home. Shortly after, Firat’s brother took her for a walk on the beach, and then he plunged a knife into his sister’s chest 40 times. He was following the will of their family and what they believed was the will of Allah.
Firat’s family would not bury their daughter or go to the funeral. Around fifty women paid for it and marched chanting for the end of such violence against women:
“We are not going to be anyone’s honor,” “End honor killings,” “Hands that hurt women should be broken.”
Stories like Firat’s are more than daily occurrences in Turkey,Pakistan, and many other parts of the Muslim world. And recent cases in the United States show it is a growing problem here too. But while women’s groups are becoming more outspoken in Turkey, feminist organizations are silent in America. And to make matters worse, our media continues to argue there is nothing to fear with the spread of Sharia.
Europe is looking at Turkey and their own problems and our finally starting to see the dangers. When will America do the same? How many women will be abused or killed before we do?

For more than a decade Islamic immigrants have poured into welcoming parts of Western Europe. Many of those open-armed nations have allowed and even promoted that Muslims be able to live the Islamic way without being truly merged into European society. Some nations, most notably the UK, have even allowed the spread of Sharia law in Muslim communities.
Well the times, they are a changing. Leaders of the UK, Germany, and France have all recently called for the end of full blown Islamic multiculturalism and a restored push for a national identity among all its citizens.
Yesterday, in France, President Nicolas Sarkozy shocked many in his own country when he declared that multiculturalism is dead in The French Republic. Sarkozy made the surprising remarks on French television.
“Of course we must all respect differences, but we do not want… a society where communities coexist side by side…If you come to France, you accept to melt into a single community, which is the national community, and if you do not want to accept that, you cannot be welcome in France… We have been too concerned about the identity of the person who was arriving and not enough about the identity of the country that was receiving him.” – Sarkozy
While France had already rejected some of Germany and the UK’s multicultural practices (no Muslim veils in public or headscarves in schools), Sarkozy had been known as someone open to multiculturalism before becoming President in 2007. Now, he has made it clear that Muslims who move to France must pursue “a French Islam and not just an Islam in France.” Such words did not sit well with Islamic groups, but Sarkozy was merely echoing recent statements heard in England and Germany.
Last week, the UK’s British Prime Minister David Cameron told the annual Munich Security Conference that European nations have been too lenient on allowing anti-western view to spread unhindered in Islamic immigrant circles.
“We won’t defeat terrorism simply by the actions we take outside our borders. Europe needs to wake up to what is happening in our own countries…We have even tolerated these segregated communities behaving in ways that run counter to our values. We have encouraged different cultures to live separate lives, apart from each other and the mainstream…We’ve been too cautious, frankly even fearful, to stand up to them.” – Cameron
The United Kingdom, in recent years, had opened their doors to all types of pro-Sharia initiatives. Our friends across the pond have often been seen as a possible future for America when it comes to the spread of Sharia. (For a recent example see this NRB blog). The UK has a population of Muslims where Sharia is demanded and even 1 in 3 UK college Muslims think killing for Islam is okay. It is clear now that the British Prime minister knows their policies have failed.
“If we are to defeat this threat, I believe it’s time to turn the page on the failed policies of the past. Instead of ignoring this extremist ideology, we as governments and societies have got to confront it, in all its forms.” – Cameron
That speech was given in Germany and one of those applauding in the audience was German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Merkel herself had only last October made similar comments about the dangers of multiculturalism mixed with Islamists. She spoke in Potsdam, Germany where the crowd cheered her words of warning.
“(In) the beginning of the 1960s our country called the foreign workers to come to Germany and now they live in our country. We kidded ourselves a while. We said: ‘They won’t stay, [after some time] they will be gone,’ but this isn’t reality. And of course, the approach [to build] a multicultural [society] and to live side by side and to enjoy each other … has failed, utterly failed.” – Merkel
Merkel, who surprised few with her call for cultural integration, has now surprisingly become a model for Cameron and Sarkozy. The three pillars of Western Europe are now all on the same page when it comes to understanding the dangers of mixing multiculturalism and Islamists. But will America listen?
America has been pushing multiculturalism for over 30 years now. And now that Sharia law is being promoted in the U.S., what will we do? That question rocked the nation with last year’s battle over the World Trade Center mosque, but the country never gave a final answer. Hopefully we will one day learn follow the example of our friends in Europe have now set.
I am a dad of two daughters. I would die for them. I would harm others who tried to hurt them.
I would never consider killing my girls for any reason. The same can not be said for an Arizona Muslim named Faleh Almaleki. The Iraqi native came from a land of Sharia and brought his perverted sense of justice with him. Now he will be facing American justice, but Almaleki’s story will not be facing major media coverage.
Those who care about the spread of radical Islam have paid attention to the sad events in Arizona. Our own Jamie Glazov covered the story well last month. In October of 2009 Faleh Almaleki ran over his teenage daughter with his SUV because she was being too western. He wanted his daughter Noor to marry an Iraqi man. He murdered his daughter, fled, was caught, has been tried, and has now been convicted of second degree murder.
Have you noticed this case on television much? Nope. It has largely been ignored by the mainstream media. Glazov called it their “shameful silence.” Those covering the sick father’s conviction have buried the story and kept their comments short and scrubbed of religious references. Below is an example from the Associated Press.
Again, the media has either completely ignored this story, or only gave it a brief mention. Many who did give this case a glance, were somehow able to avoid using words like “Muslim,” “Sharia” or “Islam.” I’m not quite sure how you report on a Sharia-style honor killing without bringing up those words even once. Look at how one of the ‘journalists’ from Huffington Post described honor killings:
His crime has been characterized by local police as an honor killing — the murder of a woman for “shaming” her family. The chilling practice has deep roots in some tribal traditions of the Middle East and South Asia. – Abigail Pesta, Huffington Post
So, honor killings have no connection to Islam or Sharia? Right. It’s just a tribal thing with no connection whatsoever. Nice try HP. MSNBC fares no better. They also refuse to use any of those pesky words like “Muslim” or “Sharia.” In fact they only mentioned that the prosecutors claimed this was an “honor killing.”
Similar coverage is found with NPR, USA Today, the Washington Post, and BBC News. CNN barely gave the story a few paragraphs and buried it in the “justice” section of their website. They didn’t use any of those Muslim buzz words we’ve mentioned either. And CBS gave the story the same treatment and manages to end their story with:
Noor Almaleki’s story set off a firestorm of “honor killing” outrage at the time and raised awareness of the rare practice within the United States. – CBS
So CBS believes the story has nothing to do with Islam, and people shouldn’t be outraged since this never happens. Of course they fail to mention that another Muslim man was convicted just this month in New York for killing his children.
The only MSM media I could find that at least referenced Islam or the dad being Muslim were a Reuters report which didn’t say much and then only two others who did a good job. ABC News, surprisingly, was one of the them who not only mentioned Islam but talked about how the Muslim man’s religious beliefs may have led to his disturbing actions. They gave the story two pages and a news video report to the story. The New York Daily News, not as surprisingly, also did solid work on the story.
I have yet to see the story even acknowledged by the New York Times, Time, Newsweek, and most of the major Leftist blogs like Alternet and Mother Jones. Their silence is indeed shameful.
Cases like the one in Arizona need to get major coverage by our media outlets. People need to know that with the spread of Sharia comes the abuse and even killings of Muslim women. Moreover, our mainstream media must not ignore the links honor killings have with Islam. Obviously most Muslims do not commit honor killings. Does our media feel Americans are too ignorant to get that?
Every article that made no mention of Islam in this story merely proved the author was not a journalist. We at NewsReal are dedicated to continue covering these stories that others are purposefully ignoring.

Christians Fear and Know New Government in Egypt Could Bring Radical Islam and Persecution

The American media and our government are blindly supporting a power shake-up in Egypt not knowing who will take the helm of leadership. And if you ask Christians connected with Egypt you will quickly learn that in all likelihood, these protests in Cairo and Alexandria will lead to the radical Muslim Brotherhood grasping political control. A simple study of recent persecution against Coptic Christians in Egypt, along with paying attention to knowledgeable Christian observers, will show the Egyptian revolution could have dire consequences for Israel, the U.S., and Egyptian Christians.
This week’s massive protest should not be taken out of context of how this year began in Egyptian news. On January 1st there was a suicide bombing at a New Year’s Eve service at the Church of the Two Saints, a Coptic Orthodox congregation in Alexandria, Egypt. The explosion killed 22 church members. It led to protests by Christians and counter protests by Muslims. Instead of focusing on Islamists, Muslim officials blamed the Jews in Israel. The accepted and proclaimed Muslim belief was that the bombing was part of “a Zionist conspiracy against national unity in Egypt.”
Egypt has a population of 80 million and 10-15% of those are Christian. The rest are primarily Muslim. Coptic Christians have been around since shortly after the time of Christ, long before Mohammad was born or Islam showed up on the scene. But growing hatred and violence of Muslims against Coptics has been the norm the past couple of years. A two-year study recently documented 52 anti-Christian incidents between 2008 and 2010 in which none of the perpetrators were punished for their crimes. And as Muslim violence increases, the blame continues to be pointed toward Israel.
So in Egypt we have a history of Islamists attacking Christians and then blaming Israel as a rallying cry for unity. Coptics have been attacked over and over again by Islamists and now riots have broken out that could lead these Islamists to power. Christian observers are right to be concerned about what’s going on in Cairo and Alexandria.
The Muslim Brotherhood has been thirsting for power in Egypt for many, many years. Look at what is happening in Gaza today and you will have a very good idea of what could happen in Egypt if Hamas’ friends and allies, the Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt come to power. For some reason the press and Washington leaders think that these protesters are merely fighters for democracy. CNN, for example, continues to call the anti-government crowd “pro-democracy”. Why in the world are we being told as fact that this is simply a democratic movement? These protests came after a pro-democracy uprising in Tunisia, but Islamists may be using that movement to help them with a power grab.
