Why Do Some Conservatives Still Assume Obama and the Left Are Acting in Good Faith?

2011 March 16

Why is it so difficult for some conservatives to accept the idea that the left is hellbent on destroying America as we know it? It’s not like it’s a far-out conspiracy theory. It’s a well documented ongoing process. These people have been at it for decades. The Cloward-Piven Strategy, which is one piece of the subversive puzzle, is real. We’ve proven it here at NewsReal and I’ve proven it in my upcoming book Subversion Inc. Since the culturally catastrophic 1960s elements within the left have been more or less open about their movement’s desire to overthrow the American system of government and capitalism it’s not a secret. Read a Noam Chomsky book –if you can do so without throwing up– and feel the anti-American venom leap right off the page and splash you in the face. read more…

Politico Disguises Hit Piece on Michele Bachmann as Fact-checking

2011 March 14

People who get paid to talk for a living are bound to make a lot of innocent mistakes when they talk. This includes our elected representatives. But mistakes made by conservatives almost always generate more media coverage than mistakes by liberals.

And so yet another dreary left-wing hit piece on Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) emerges. This time it is disguised as a fact-checking exercise. (Of course Bachmann’s misstatements are trifling compared to those of Barack “57 States” Obama and Joe “Stand Up For Chuck” Biden.)

The phony fact-checkers are Jonathan Martin and Kendra Marr of the Politico. They say Bachmann was wrong when she said that the Founding Fathers worked to get rid of slavery in the United States. Bachmann is quoted saying, “The very Founders that wrote those documents worked tirelessly until slavery was no more in the United States.” (Note: Founders is spelled with a lower-case F in the article. This is incorrect. When referring to the American Founding Fathers the upper-case must be used on the initial letters.)

Man Who Saved Republican Delegates’ Lives Sues New York Times for Libel

2011 March 13

The New York Times and its lawyers are sweating as they desperately look for an exit strategy. They’re tense right now because the Old Gray Lady libeled Brandon Darby, who undermined a plot to firebomb the 2008 GOP convention. Now Darby has returned fire with a defamation lawsuit against the supposed newspaper of record.

As I wrote at The Daily Caller on Friday, a New York Times article stated matter-of-factly that Darby “encouraged” two anarchists to attack Republicans — a complete falsehood. (Here is the full back story on Darby from a previous NewsReal post.) In fact as the judge sentenced one of the plotters he specifically made a finding that Darby had not encouraged the conspiracy. The far-left homegrown terrorist even admitted he had made the story up — and the judge gave him an extra heavy sentence for his lies. read more…

Comrade Michael Moore Embraces His Inner Charlie Sheen

2011 March 9

Far-left agitprop filmmaker Michael Moore sure resembled an old-style Red agitator the other day in Madison, Wisconsin. Sounding much like Charlie Sheen nowadays, Moore invited his fellow radicals to join him in a lovely stroll through La La Land.

“America is not broke,” Moore was quoted saying. “The country is awash in wealth and cash … It has been transferred in the greatest heist in history from the workers and consumers to the banks and the portfolios of the uber-rich.” Apparently in Moore’s world the U.S. doesn’t have a $14 trillion-plus national debt and unfunded entitlement obligations that stretch all the way to the edge of the galaxy and back. read more…

If You Save the Lives of Republican Delegates, the New York Times Thinks YOU Are the Terrorist

2011 March 8

As a wave of left-wing union thuggery tries to intimidate the nation, why is the progressive New York Times running an ugly campaign of character assassination against a real-life American hero who saved lives and helped to safeguard the nation’s sacred democratic process? Could it be because the newspaper is sympathetic to the goals of the thuggish community organizers and union goons intimidating state legislatures across America and wants to help advance the liberal-left narrative?

The man with the bull’s eye on his back is Brandon Darby, formerly a far-left community organizer. This heroic defector from the Left stands accused by the New York Times and by angry radical groups of becoming an agent provocateur. Unhinged anarchists across the country would love to get their hands on him. All over the Internet Darby’s name has been dragged through the mud by the Daily Kos and Crooks and Liars crowd. They accuse him of selling out and pushing the wrongdoers hard enough that he essentially became a co-conspirator. Search for his name with the words traitor, rat, or fink and you’ll see what I mean.

Dr. Death And Other Leftist Thugs Gear Up To Intimidate New Oversight Chairman

2011 March 5

Why is it whenever Democrats come to power the new top investigator is hailed as a champion of truth, justice, and the American Way but when Republicans take the House the new chief investigator is always a corrupt, malicious scoundrel controlled by moneyed special interests? read more…

Code Pink Kooks Are Now Publicists For The Islamofascist Muslim Brotherhood

2011 March 3

It never ends with ultraleftist anti-American pro-terrorist Code Pink leader Medea Benjamin. After soliciting funds from Americans to promote Islamofascism and expressing horror that anyone in the U.S. would dare to oppose turning Egypt into an Islamofascist state, now she’s doing public relations work for the Muslim Brotherhood. read more…

Eric Holder Throws A Fit To Distract From His Race-Conscious Approach To Law Enforcement

2011 March 2

Attorney General Eric Holder threw an infantile temper tantrum before a congressional panel in order to distract from the Obama administration’s blatantly race-conscious approach to enforcing election laws. Striking an indignant pose, Holder freaked out when a congressman claimed that the U.S. Department of Justice was ridiculously lenient in a voter intimidation case against members of the New Black Panther Party because they’re black. The case involved two members of the NBPP dressed in intimidating outfits who on Election Day 2008 hung around a Philadelphia polling place brandishing weapons.

As the Politico reported, Rep. John Culberson (R-Texas) pressed Holder to explain DOJ’s conduct. “There’s clearly evidence, overwhelming evidence, that your Department of Justice refuses to protect the rights of anybody other than African Americans to vote,” he said. “There’s a pattern of a double standard here.” Culberson mentioned that Democratic activist Bartle Bull had called the incident the worst case of voter intimidation he had ever witnessed.

This was too much for ultra politically correct Holder who can’t even admit that there is a thing called radical Islam and that it is at war with the United States. read more…

Obama To States On Obamacare: You Can Do It My Way, Or You Can Do It My Way. Now Choose!

2011 March 1

Heads I win, tails you lose. That’s the false choice America’s Community Organizer-in-Chief just offered the states. Let me explain. Many governors are unhappy about Obamacare, so President Obama told them, “If your state can create a plan that can cover as many people as affordably and comprehensively as the Affordable Care Act does, without increasing the deficit, you can implement that plan and we’ll work with you to do it.” Sounds like he’s being pragmatic and reasonable doesn’t it?

Well then the joke’s on you. read more…

Smearing Patriots Like Pamela Geller Is Just Another Day At The Office At The Southern Poverty Law Center

2011 February 28

My colleague Jeff Dunetz detailed the repulsive, malicious, counterfactual attack on the prolific blogger Pamela Geller by the character assassins at the fundraising firm and phony watchdog group known as the Southern Poverty Law Center. I’ve been studying the megabucks slime factory for years. Among many other things, the SPLC is effectively pro-Islamic terrorism. Why else would it consider the Muslim Brotherhood front group, Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), upon which it bases its attack on Geller, to be credible and trustworthy? Something’s going on there that neither group is telling up about. read more…

Cheering on the Islamofascists: Inside the Mind of a Code Pinko

2011 February 25

Here’s an interesting interview the hyper-extreme left-wing Institute for Policy Studies did with trust fund brat Code Pink leader Medea Benjamin. As I previously blogged, Benjamin had recently been over in Egypt attempting to stir up trouble. Code Pink has a long history of working with Egypt’s enemies (and America’s enemies too).

When asked what role the U.S. should take on now in Egypt, Benjamin expressed horror that anyone stateside would dare to oppose the transmogrification of Egypt into an Iranian-style Islamic fundamentalist state. read more…

The Battle for Wisconsin is the Battle for the Future of America

2011 February 23

Contrary to what the Left says, it is not a sign of mental disturbance to believe that President Obama is deliberately fomenting crises in order to advance his radical agenda. I might even argue that it is a form of denial to fail to recognize that the Community-Organizer-in-Chief’s deliberate, exquisitely calculated, ongoing campaign to sow discord and chaos is part of a larger strategy. Crises, as Rahm Emanuel and Hillary Clinton remind us, present opportunities that should not be wasted.

There is no conspiracy because to my mind that implies that the plan is hidden. It is not. The evidence is there for anyone who cares to look. There is a plan to smash America’s longstanding institutions and render the U.S. Constitution meaningless and it comes from Saul Alinsky, Richard Cloward, Frances Fox Piven and from others in a rogue’s gallery of liberty-hating revolutionary activists and thinkers. Not every aspect of the plan is clear-cut and not all radicals agree on every aspect of it but there is no denying that there has been a meeting of the minds on the hard Left for the last 50 or so years. They know that the kind of change they want will not come organically, not in America with its wonderfully anti-authoritarian cultural biases. As Che Guevara remarked, “The revolution is not an apple that falls when it is ripe. You have to make it fall.” read more…
