ACORN’s radical allies are now attempting to rewrite history to cast the organized crime syndicate as victim instead of as the prolific victimizer that it has been ever since it was created in 1970. ACORN online campaign director Nathan Henderson-James served notice in February that a propaganda effort was about to begin.
“[T]here will be a fight over the narrative of ACORN’s demise,” he wrote to members of Townhouse, a discussion forum run by Matt Stoller, senior policy adviser to Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.). The other side wants “a narrative about the corruption of popular organizations and how they are simply vehicles for the personal enrichment and power fantasies of their top staff members while pushing public policies that destroy middle America.”
Such a narrative must be fought, Henderson-James argued, because it “gives people pushing a pro-corporate agenda a way to tar progressives and even non-progressive Democrats running for office with the ACORN brush.” read more…
There’s something that is conspicuously absent in scholarship on the Communist terrorist group the Weather Underground that was led by President Obama’s Chicago friends Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.
The Weather Underground, or as some called them, the Weathermen, bombed the Pentagon, the U.S. Capitol, and various other sites of national importance throughout the 1970s. Ayers famously said he didn’t regret what he did and he’d do it again.
But evidence suggests that the Weather Underground had much more diabolical plans.

I don’t like Communists.
Call me old school if you want but I remember the Cold War, the murderous Soviet Union, Mao‘s Cultural Revolution, and Pol Pot. Totalitarian oppression and mass murder are what Communism‘s all about. It’s not cool.
So I was astonished to receive a direct message via Twitter Wednesday from Van Jones, President Obama‘s ousted green jobs czar. Jones is a favorite target of Glenn Beck because he’s a self-described revolutionary communist who managed to land a sweet job in President Obama’s White House.
I had written on Twitter that I thought Jones’s speech at the leftist “America’s Future Now” conference in Washington, D.C., was an example of powerful oratory. Too bad Jones is a Communist, I wrote. Here’s the tweet: read more…
During a left-wing group’s panel discussion on how rotten America is and how capitalism is forcing Americans to eat their babies after stewing, roasting, baking, or boiling them, former Students for a Democratic Society radical Heather Booth, now executive director of Americans for Financial Reform, said an economy-killing “financial speculation tax” was needed to curb the incentive for people to, well, participate in capitalism.
“A big battle still needs to be waged to curb the incentive for speculation and to get our money back to fund jobs and health care, climate and more,” said the practiced orator. read more…

Hostile Glenn Beck biographer Alexander Zaitchik lashed out at the Fox News talk show host during a Fox News-bashing panel discussion at the “America’s Future Now” conference in Washington, D.C. (The event is hosted by the Campaign for America’s Future and its sister organization, the Institute for America’s Future.)

Leftist journalist Helen Thomas, who would never be confused with Helen of Troy, thinks all the Jews in Israel should pack up and move to Germany, Poland, and America.
“Tell them to get the hell out of Palestine,” Thomas said in an interview widely circulated on the Internet.
It’s long been known that the radical scribe was an Israel hater, so that video didn’t shock me much.
What shocked to me is the fact that Thomas works with a speakers’ bureau, which as a result of her rant, has dumped her as a client. Imagine that — people actually paid good money to listen to this irrelevant, noxious windbag spout off. Now that’s a shocker.

And so we hear again from the devious terrorist sympathizer Max Blumenthal, a soulless ultra-leftist propagandist who labors under the misapprehension that he is a journalist. When the truth doesn’t help him make his case, he changes the facts. His track record of inaccuracy tells you all you need to know about this creepy little miscreant.
And now the latest conspiracy theory: Blumenthal claims in the headline of his blog post that “The Flotilla Raid Was Not ‘Bungled.’ The IDF Detailed Its Violent Strategy In Advance.” He asserts by way of rhetorical question that “the violence they meted out against the flotilla activists [was] deliberate and methodically planned.”
He refers to the raid on the flotilla of blockade-running terrorists and their sympathizers as a “massacre.”

Even after the million-dollar ACORN embezzlement scandal in 2008 forced the radical leftist group, Catholic Campaign for Human Development, to stop funding ACORN, CCHD keeps on funding radical left-wing organizations.
CCHD is the grant-making arm of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, which acts on behalf of the nation’s Roman Catholic bishops. CCHD and ACORN share a left-wing ideology that puts a premium on Saul Alinsky-style aggressive community organizing. read more…
ACORN-slayer James O’Keefe’s latest undercover video shows Census Bureau officials condoning fraud. O’Keefe signed up as a temporary Census employee and told his superiors that he hadn’t worked hours for which he was going to be paid.
For the most part Obama Census officials didn’t care and ignored O’Keefe’s admission.
The Census Bureau dumped ACORN as a “national partner” in the 2010 head count last fall after James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles’s undercover videos spotlighting ACORN’s rampant corruption debuted. read more…
Canada’s sclerotic, dysfunctional universal healthcare system is poised to come to America courtesy of the Democratic-controlled Congress and the Obama administration just as Canada backs away from the socialistic system that is bankrupting it.
That nation’s provincial governments are desperately scrambling to find ways to cut costs.

For the umpteenth time, leftist movie director Oliver Stone praised his favorite South American communist strongman Hugo Chavez.
“I admire Hugo. I like him very much as a person,” Stone said in Caracas, Venezuela, where he was promoting his latest cinematic atrocity, South of the Border.
