Earlier this week, the media once again displayed why no one can take them seriously. The Fourth Estate is totally insolvent and is declaring bankruptcy, morally and otherwise. In this recent instance, having to do with Tuesday night’s Republican primary in Alaska, it was at least quite hilarious.
You see, Sarah Palin had endorsed Joe Miller over the incumbent alleged Republican Senator, Lisa Murkowski. As Jim Treacher at The Daily Caller lays out, and as Ace of Spades also noted, the media was so hell-bent on a way to discredit Sarah Palin that they indulged in the child-like behavior of squinting your eyes closed to reality and wishing really, really hard that fantasy comes true. First up was Alex Gutierrez at Slate, who was clearly desperately hoping for a way to spin Palin as politically detrimental: read more…

This past week, Republican South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford and Republican Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli displayed how the GOP is the party who is actually For The Children, and not just in the talking points way. First up was Governor Mark Sanford, who signed bill H 3245 into law. The law now requires that women have a 24 hour waiting period before obtaining an abortion. Prior to this law, there was only a one hour waiting period. It also requires that abortionists offer women the ability to see their unborn child on an ultrasound before aborting the baby, but does not require that they view the ultrasound. They must merely be given the choice. Choice is important, right? Next, came Virginia Attorney General, Ken Cuccinelli, who concluded last week that state agencies in Virginia can legally regulate abortion clinics as medical establishments.
This should just be common sense and shouldn’t raise the ire of even the most vociferously pro-abortion, right? I mean, it does not make abortion illegal, but it does make it safer – and hopefully rarer. Safe, legal and rare is the mantra, no? Apparently, by safe, legal and rare, pro-abortionists really only mean one out of the three. They actually want it to be unsafe, legal, and not rare at all. As is indicated by their fierce opposition to such simple, decent and potentially life-saving measures. read more…
90 years after the 19th Amendment to the Constitution was ratified, giving women the vote, Democrats are actively seeking to figuratively repeal the amendment. They are striving for a form of reverse-suffrage, wherein every woman must walk in lockstep with their ideology, or you are not a “real” woman. How dare women step off the gender-baiting, Democrat plantation and vote based on their own beliefs and convictions? They believe women should all think the same way and vote along their ideological agenda, in effect, giving up their vote. They deserve it you see and women are helpless and hapless victims, unable to achieve equality without their nanny state aid – or so they would have women believe, through the lies they have perpetuated for generations.
The lies have been countless, but, thankfully they are now being exposed. The true beliefs of Democrats regarding women are also being exposed, yet they are pitifully and desperately clinging to the false claims of being For The Women. Just yesterday, the DNC sent out an email daring to compare the myth of a wage gap, and other busy work issues that they toss over to women, with the Suffrage Movement. Instead of rejoicing over the fact that in this country men and women are equal, they continue to further myths and propagate lies in an attempt to shroud women in a cloak of victim-hood. They’ve gone so far as to scrub reports from the Labor Department itself that shatter this myth: read more…
From Lori Ziganto’s latest article at Human Events:
So-called progressives recently gathered in Las Vegas for their annual NetRoots conference, where they celebrate diversity and individual freedom—by marching in lockstep to an ideological agenda and demonizing those who actually embrace diversity of thought and personal liberty.
You know, like those evil conservatives.
While most of the conference was tiresomely predictable, something stood out to me.
Pro-abortion NARAL was there, naturally. But, what was conspicuous to me about their attendance were the buttons that they were giving away and the T-shirts that they were selling, emblazoned with “I heart pro-choice boys” and “I heart pro-choice girls.” Unironically. A vast supply of merchandise that encourages the disrespect of women and the killing of their unborn babies.
Instead of trying to code it up with “I heart pro-choice girls,” they should have just been honest (I know, they aren’t too good at the honesty thing, intellectually or otherwise) and flat-out said, “I heart girls who will let me use them for sex and abort any resulting pregnancy—no responsibility and no respect needed” or, simply, “no muss, no fuss.” read more…
A video surfaced today of the abysmally-rated Katie Couric rehearsing and taping some segments on the very day that Sarah Palin was announced as John McCain’s running mate for the 2008 election. While her derision isn’t surprising – she made it quite evident in all subsequent alleged reporting as well – it does show that she was already biased on Day One. It also quite clearly shows sneering contempt: read more…
There is a new ‘hot topic’ at various alleged Feminist sites that exemplifies yet another reason why leftist self-named Feminists should really be called Femisogynists. Their agenda is purely a political one and it’s one that is actually harmful to women. The end now justifies the means to the point that the new in thing to do in Leftist Feminist/Femisogynist circles is to “embrace sluthood”. No, really. A most recent example from that hotbed of objectification and subjugation of women disguised as feminism, Feministe.com: read more…
