Palin Media Bias Rears Its Head In Hilarious Wishful Thinking

2010 August 27

Earlier this week, the media once again displayed why no one can take them seriously. The Fourth Estate is totally insolvent and is declaring bankruptcy, morally and otherwise. In this recent instance, having to do with Tuesday night’s Republican primary in Alaska, it was at least quite hilarious.

You see, Sarah Palin had endorsed Joe Miller over the incumbent alleged Republican Senator, Lisa Murkowski. As Jim Treacher at The Daily Caller lays out, and as Ace of Spades also noted, the media was so hell-bent on a way to discredit Sarah Palin that they indulged in the child-like behavior of squinting your eyes closed to reality and wishing really, really hard that fantasy comes true. First up was Alex Gutierrez at Slate, who was clearly desperately hoping for a way to spin Palin as politically detrimental: read more…

SC’s Governor and VA’s Attorney General: For The Children

2010 August 25

From Lori Ziganto’s latest article at RedState

This past week, Republican South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford and Republican Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli displayed how the GOP is the party who is actually For The Children, and not just in the talking points way. First up was Governor Mark Sanford, who signed bill H 3245 into law. The law now requires that women have a 24 hour waiting period before obtaining an abortion. Prior to this law, there was only a one hour waiting period. It also requires that abortionists offer women the ability to see their unborn child on an ultrasound before aborting the baby, but does not require that they view the ultrasound. They must merely be given the choice. Choice is important, right? Next, came Virginia Attorney General, Ken Cuccinelli, who concluded last week that state agencies in Virginia can legally regulate abortion clinics as medical establishments.

This should just be common sense and shouldn’t raise the ire of even the most vociferously pro-abortion, right? I mean, it does not make abortion illegal, but it does make it safer – and hopefully rarer. Safe, legal and rare is the mantra, no? Apparently, by safe, legal and rare, pro-abortionists really only mean one out of the three. They actually want it to be unsafe, legal, and not rare at all. As is indicated by their fierce opposition to such simple, decent and potentially life-saving measures. read more…

Ms. Magazine Says It’s Not The Economy, Stupid. It’s Your Girly Bits

2010 August 21

Last year, the Left floated the idea that unemployment is really super fun and tried to pass it off as FUNemployment. That spin eventually failed, because people not living in their parents’ basements and fiddling with their iPods realized it really isn’t all that enjoyable not being able to, you know, pay their bills. So, they are now left with inventing new reasons for why people aren’t getting hired. Specifically, we women-folk. Guess what, ladies? It’s not the fact that President Obama has spent more time creating or saving his own golf handicap than he has spent on the economic situation, that is preventing you from getting a job. It’s your girly parts!  According to that bastion of enlightenment, Ms. Magazine, at least. In an article entitled “It Wasn’t Your Resume, It Was Your Vagina”, they attempt to make that case. And fail. Miserably, as always.

90th Anniversary of Women’s Suffrage and Dems Work to Repeal the 19th Amendment

2010 August 18

90 years after the 19th Amendment to the Constitution was ratified, giving women the vote, Democrats are actively seeking to figuratively repeal the amendment. They are striving for a form of reverse-suffrage, wherein every woman must walk in lockstep with their ideology, or you are not a “real” woman. How dare women step off the gender-baiting, Democrat plantation and vote based on their own beliefs and convictions? They believe women should all think the same way and vote along their ideological agenda, in effect, giving up their vote. They deserve it you see and women are helpless and hapless victims, unable to achieve equality without their nanny state aid – or so they would have women believe, through the lies they have perpetuated for generations.

The lies have been countless, but, thankfully they are now being exposed. The true beliefs of Democrats regarding women are also being exposed, yet they are pitifully and desperately clinging to the false claims of being For The Women. Just yesterday, the DNC sent out an email daring to compare the myth of a wage gap, and other busy work issues that they toss over to women, with the Suffrage Movement. Instead of rejoicing over the fact that in this country men and women are equal, they continue to further myths and propagate lies in an attempt to shroud women in a cloak of victim-hood.  They’ve gone so far as to scrub reports from the Labor Department itself that shatter this myth: read more…

Hot Post: The Left: Sanctioning Infanticide As an End Justifying The Means

2010 August 15

20 weeks

Barbara Boxer was recently up in arms over some words. No,  this time it wasn’t the oh-so horrifying word ma’am. She was up in arms over her own words or, more to the point, the fact that George Will was holding her to her own words – words that expressed a pro-abortion position so extreme, it can only be described, no matter one’s position on abortion, as outright infanticide. So, she pulled the handy old “out of context” card. Only, it was totally in context, with full video documentation. read more…

Progressives Reduce Women to the Sum of Their Girly Parts

2010 August 10

From Lori Ziganto’s latest article at Human Events:

So-called progressives recently gathered in Las Vegas for their annual NetRoots conference, where they celebrate diversity and individual freedom—by marching in lockstep to an ideological agenda and demonizing those who actually embrace diversity of thought and personal liberty.

You know, like those evil conservatives.

While most of the conference was tiresomely predictable, something stood out to me.

Pro-abortion NARAL was there, naturally. But, what was conspicuous to me about their attendance were the buttons that they were giving away and the T-shirts that they were selling, emblazoned with “I heart pro-choice boys” and “I heart pro-choice girls.” Unironically. A vast supply of merchandise that encourages the disrespect of women and the killing of their unborn babies.

Instead of trying to code it up with “I heart pro-choice girls,” they should have just been honest (I know, they aren’t too good at the honesty thing, intellectually or otherwise) and flat-out said, “I heart girls who will let me use them for sex and abort any resulting pregnancy—no responsibility and no respect needed” or, simply, “no muss, no fuss.” read more…

Katie Couric: Sneeringly Palin-Biased on Day One

2010 August 4

A video surfaced today of the abysmally-rated Katie Couric rehearsing and taping some segments on the very day that Sarah Palin was announced as John McCain’s running mate for the 2008 election. While her derision isn’t surprising – she made it quite evident in all subsequent alleged reporting as well – it does show that she was already biased on Day One. It also quite clearly shows sneering contempt: read more…

President Obama, Shamelessly and Hypocritically Lying. Again.

2010 August 1

From Lori Ziganto’s latest article at RedState

President Obama gave an interview to CBS on Sunday, wherein he attempted to explain his stance against Arizona’s SB 1070 Immigration bill. Still no word on whether or not he’s actually read the bill yet, but based on his inane murmurings, I’d have to go with No. But, to be fair, during the interview he did display a few things that he does quite well: shameless lying and absolute hypocrisy. You see, President Obama had the utter gall to say that we shouldn’t demagogue nor politicize a national problem like immigration reform. No, really. My jaw dropped too and I thought to myself “could he possibly be that shameless?” Apparently, yes: read more…

Leftist Feminists Proudly Embrace Sluthood, Objectification and Subjugation of Women

2010 August 1

There is a new ‘hot topic’ at various alleged Feminist sites that exemplifies yet another reason why leftist self-named Feminists should really be called Femisogynists. Their agenda is purely a political one and it’s one that is actually harmful to women. The end now justifies the means to the point that the new in thing to do in Leftist Feminist/Femisogynist circles is to “embrace sluthood”. No, really. A most recent example from that hotbed of objectification and subjugation of women disguised as feminism, Feministe.com: read more…

No Need For That Pesky Driver’s License Any Longer!

2010 July 28

A decision came down today in the lawsuit pursued by the Obama Administration’s Department of Justice, headed by Eric Holder, against the Arizona Immigration bill SB 1070.  Judge Susan Bolton, a Clinton appointee, issued an injunction blocking several pertinent parts of the new law from going into effect Thursday. According to the Judge, it’s apparently  a no-no for States to enforce federal law, even if the federal government totally sucks at it and can’t do it themselves. The Arizona law was put in place and was, in fact, necessitated primarily by the federal government’s failure to enforce its own, but perhaps some federal laws are just there for show? To trick us all and then just say, “Psych! We really didn’t mean it. Bless your hearts.” So, it seems there are laws and then there are law-laws: read more…

Obama and A Moronic Room with a View

2010 July 27

I hate “The View.” I can’t think of anything that I’d like to watch less than a bunch of inane broads, prattling on about their va-jay-jays endlessly while pretending that they are oh so cool and hip. In fact, the entire premise of the show annoys me. “Oh look at us! 4 (or 5) women sitting around talking ! Aren’t we super awesome and daring? Isn’t this bold and unique?”

Um, no.You’ll see the same thing every morning in many households in those “bitter” small towns, after the school bus picks up the kids. Only with real coffee not some chai tea business. And better conversation. And hotter, younger dames. Plus, I am pretty sure that a bunch of old, embarrassingly stupid, unattractive women discussing their “va-jay-jays” is one of the modern day seven signs of the Apocalypse. If not, it should be. The use of the term va-jay-jay is another, I’m certain. What happened to the much more elegant and classy “naughty bits”? Oh, right. Feminists happened. You’ve come a long way, baby!

So anyway, apparently, President Obama has no such qualms. In fact, he finds “The View” preferable to attending the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts. Makes sense, I suppose. I mean, the boy scouts are just a bunch of kids that other people were “punished by.” Plus, it’s all American like apple pie and stuff, which we know he thinks is super icky. read more…
