WaPo’s Richard Cohen Shows His Bias And His True (Racist) Colors In Palin Hit Piece

2010 November 23

These days, the biased leftist slant of the media is more apparent than it has ever been. They are spinning madly, increasingly frantic with fear of those super scary Tea Partiers and oh-so-terrifying conservatives. And when you add Sarah Palin and race-based identity politics into the mix, it becomes a perfect storm of unabashed — and unbalanced — leftist water carrying.

The Washington Post’s Richard Cohen is the latest to exhibit just how unglued the Left and the media, being concentric circles on a Venn diagram, natch, have become. Newsbusters points out that in the article titled “Attack on Michelle Obama shows Palin’s ignorance of history,” Cohen comes to the inane, and typically leftist, conclusion that Sarah Palin “could not be the president of black America nor of Hispanic America.”  Um. Sure, I’m no swanky-pants Washington Post columnist, nor do I even have the vast experience of a community organizer from which to draw, but I’m fairly certain that the presidency isn’t segregated.

Can’t let pesky facts stand in the way of a hit piece, though, can he? How does Cohen form his brilliant – and sure-fire entre into a good cocktail party this weekend – hypothesis? Because Sarah Palin dares to mention the following in her new book: read more…

Government At Work: Groping Children Is Preferable to Perceived Profiling

2010 November 14

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) recently implemented new supposed security measures, which include a mandated trip through a full body scanner that shows you in all your naked glory, or lack thereof. It’s all cool, though, because if you don’t wish to have your naked body ogled, you can always get felt up instead via the new “enhanced pat-down” option. It’s all about choice, baby! Whichever you prefer: leering or groping.

Surely, you’d think, this wouldn’t be done randomly, but would rather be a targeted measure. And, you’d also think, certainly the absolutely random subjection of children to such “pat-downs” wouldn’t occur. Well, you’d be wrong on both counts. Of course this isn’t targeted – that would be too profile-y and stuff! Because, tolerance. Or something. You see, because we must tolerate those who wish to kill us, we cannot offend them. We cannot be perceived to be singling out a certain group. We must, therefore, waste time and resources using terrorism countermeasures against, you know, NON-terrorists. And we are to pretend that 90-year-old grandmas from Nebraska flew planes into buildings on September 11th. Or that three-year-old girls strapped bombs to their shoes or in their underwear. read more…

Hot Post: Pro-Aborts Screech, “Stay Out Of My Uterus!” Unless They Want To Brag About Abortions On Twitter

2010 November 14

Originally published on November 7, 2010

Pro-abortionists love to give lip service to the “right” to privacy, especially when it concerns fancy wombs. Except for when they wish to take to Twitter and boast about their abortions publicly, apparently. This week, they did just that using the hashtag #ihadanabortion. The alleged reasoning behind such a campaign was to promote empowerment and to take the “stigma” out of, you know, the killing of unborn children. Because, wing nuts won the elections. And The Patriarchy ™. Or something. Never mind that elections themselves are, by definition, all about choice. Facts are hard.

Facts are hard for the press, too, who are ever ready to toe the pro-abortion lefty line. The Washington Post furthered the “OMG, radical extremists who hate lady bits were elected!!!111″ narrative with their article “#Ihadanabortion: Tweeting abortion after the election.” Their bias was clear from the first two paragraphs:

With Tuesday’s sweep of antiabortion candidates into Congress (including a handful of ‘hardliners‘ who say they would outlaw the procedure in all circumstances), some pro-abortion rights activists took to Twitter under the hashtag #Ihadanabortion.

Salon reported that the campaign began with a tweet Wednesday morning by @IAmDrTiller: ‘Time for us to come out. Who’s had an abortion? Show antis we’re not intimidated by scare tactics. Use: #ihadanabortion.’

If You Can’t Beat Them, Silence Them: Left Blacklists Breitbart, ABC Caves

2010 November 1

The Left nauseatingly pays lip service to the terms ‘tolerance’ and ‘diversity.’ In reality, they are highly intolerant and they hate diversity, particularly diversity of thought. They hate free markets and really loathe free marketplaces of ideas. As such, the stompy foot temper tantrums were in full force when it was announced that Andrew Breitbart and Dana Loesch, Editor In Chief of Breitbart’s Big Journalism, would be participating in ABC’s election night coverage. A coordinated effort between the usual suspects immediately, and predictably, sprung up. How dare ABC include people who won’t merely spout the Left’s talking points and somehow blame George W. Bush and people too stupid to understand the “nuance” of Democrats and their policies?  Oh, and racists, natch.

The first usual suspect to start shrieking in typical intolerant lefty fashion was the ever-inane Media Matters. Media Matters, an organization filled with tools so sanctimonious that they give themselves titles like “Senior Fellow.” Dude. You are a blogger. They, of course, offered only ad hominem attacks on Breitbart, like calling him a “propagandist.” Hello, pot! Meet kettle.  Cowardly ABC  immediately started to spin, by offering Media Matters this wuss statement: read more…

Jerry Brown Not A Fan Of Women. Or, You Know, The Truth

2010 October 29

From Lori Ziganto’s latest article at RedState:

Earlier this month, the National Organization For Women (N.O.W.) endorsed Jerry Brown for Governor of CA a mere 24 hours after an audio tape surfaced wherein Jerry Brown was heard agreeing with an aide that Meg Whitman should be called a “whore“. What’s a little sexism if it is aimed at a Republican woman! I mean, Jerry Brown is totally For The (Real) Women ™ , right? And The Children, of course. Only, not so much.

The above linked screen shot of a newspaper article, via RedState, is back from when Jerry Brown was previously Governor of California. It refers to women “pestering” Jerry Brown, who was himself quoted as saying “Can’t you get the women off my back on child care?” So, the N.O.W. endorsed Jerry Brown thinks that pester-y Meg Whitman, daring to run against him, is a “whore”, mammograms are a luxury that need not be covered by insurance and child care issues are oh-so-tiresome. Get off his back, man! More accurately, get off his back, kids and broads!

Don’t bother him further by making him have any sort of actual plans for governing, either. read more…

Gawker’s Misogynistic Smear of O’Donnell So Vile, Left Shamed Into Condemning It. But, Did They Really?

2010 October 29

Gawker, that pit of disgusting, published an anonymous hit piece on Christine O’Donnell today. I refuse to link to it; y’all can google and find it yourself. I’m a mean girl like that. The ‘exclusive’ – exclusive in this case meaning only Gawker was vile enough to publish, and pay for, such a thing – was a tale told by an idiot. A piggish, pitiful idiot who exposed himself for the total tool that he is; an alleged man, lacking an ounce of  chivalry or even human decency. Plus, according to him, he couldn’t even score with a drunk,  feisty-feeling broad!  Even though the gross hit piece was titled “My One Night Stand With Christine O’Donnell” there was no actual, um, “stand”. You see, apparently Christine O’Donnell is a total slut. Who is also a prude. Or something. read more…

For Democrats, Math Is Hard. So Is The Truth.

2010 October 25

The two latest examples of Democrat ineptitude, incompetence, and total math fail come to us from none other than Nancy Pelosi (the best speaker of the house EVAH)  and Joe “doll hair” Biden. First up is Nancy Pelosi with both bad math and shameless lies. As Ben Domenech points out at RedState, Pelosi claimed that Obamacare would create (or save!) 4 million jobs with 400,000 of them being created immediately. While no one else could know what was in the bill before they passed the bill, she was somehow magically able to pull that figure out of her arse.  Why? Because it was a total lie.  In fact, the bill actually lost Americans nearly 800,000 jobs. (pdf)  Eh. Why let pesky old facts and figures get in the way of lies and damn lies?  Plus, math is hard anyway.

Telling the truth is difficult too, evidently. If you are a Democrat, at least. Remember, that whole “jobs bill” was also a total fabrication. read more…

VIDEO: Elections Have Consequences

2010 October 21

Another awesome video from Ben Howe (with brother Caleb Howe). First he had “The Last Best Hope.” Next came “The Socialist,” which was a brilliant take-off of the film The Social Network. He clearly showed the disdain with which the current crop of Democrats treats American citizens. Because, Better Than You ™.

The latest video, via RedState, is entitled “Elections Have Consequences”:

If there is one characteristic every Democrat in the above video shares, it’s arrogant disdain. They know best, you don’t. Alan Grayson says you’re gullible. Disagree? Let him know. There are two weeks left. First, vote with your money. Then, vote with your time. And finally, vote with your vote. read more…

Editor’s Pick-Empowerment: Women Now Choose Objectification Over ‘Creepy’ Breastfeeding

2010 October 20

In case you missed it, “Women Now Choose Objectification Over ‘Creepy’ Breastfeeding” was first published on 06/30/2010. The original post and comments can be read here.

You’ve come a long way, baby. But make sure you keep babies off my “fun bags.” Or so says Kathryn Blundell, editor at the parenting magazine, Mother &  Baby.

Under the headline “I formula fed. So what?”, Kathryn Blundell says in this month’s Mother & Baby that she bottlefed her child from birth because “I wanted my body back. (And some wine)… I also wanted to give my boobs at least a chance to stay on my chest rather than dangling around my stomach.”

She goes on to say: “They’re part of my sexuality, too – not just breasts, but fun bags. And when you have that attitude (and I admit I made no attempt to change it), seeing your teeny, tiny, innocent baby latching on where only a lover has been before feels, well, a little creepy.” read more…

Media Pushes NOW Is the ‘Voice of Women’ Lie

2010 October 14

From Lori Ziganto’s article at Big Journalism:

N.O.W., the National Organization of Whores, leaped into the lead for the title of most epically hypocritical organization this week. Whoops, silly me!  I mean National Organization for Women. But, as ExJon of Exurban League pointed out to me, they won’t mind being called whores, will they? I mean, they obviously have no problem with that term, otherwise a group who claims to be For the Women™ would not, you know, endorse men who slur women with that term, now would they?

Of course they would. And did.

Tolerance and Diversity: Teaching Girls That Misogyny And Beatings Are An Honor

2010 October 13

Allah honored wives by instating the punishment of beatings.” So said Cleric Sa’d Arafat earlier this year. Last month, a Wellesley, Massachusetts public school took a trip to a mosque, where the school children were taught to pray to that same Allah.

The result is stunning: an unabashed exercise in Islamic dawa, the “call to Islam” and the manner by which the Brotherhood’s spiritual guide, Yusuf Qaradawi, promises that Islam will “conquer America” and “conquer Europe.” Qaradawi — wonder of wonders — is a trustee of the Roxbury mosque (although he is banned from the U.S. for sanctioning terrorism). As the video relates, “Dawa Net,” one Islamic organization that instructs on how to use the schools to inculcate the young, explains that public schools in America are “fertile grounds where the seeds of Islam can be sowed inside the hearts of non-Muslim students.”

Well, except for the icky girls. Cooties, and all. They were not allowed to take part in the “tolerance” indoctrination. Have to teach these girls how to show respect! And teach them a little about  the benefits of misogynistic subjugation in the Muslim world, right? See, they were shockingly told – as they were shuttled off to an area away from males – that Islam is “pro-women” and“Islam was actually very advanced in terms of recognizing women’s rights.” They were also told this: read more…
