The Left has been craving its Fox scalp for a long time now. The victories of the Beck/Breitbart axis of the fighting wing of the Conservative Movement have just been too painful to bear.
And now they’ve finally found it in the best possible place.
Yes, absolutely, Fox should fire Judge Andrew Napolitano for his 9/11 Trutherism. They should have fired him a very long time ago.

Yeah, we'll just go with the picture of caviar. If you want an image of a hooker then, well, you're on the internet now and shouldn't have too much of a hard time finding THAT.
I get this sentiment pretty regularly when dialoguing with my friends: “The Rich” don’t need the hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars they earn every year. So the government should tax them more and give it to people who do need it.
One of my dearest friends — who I wouldn’t characterize as a leftist per se, just a big-hearted idealist — commented yesterday in response to a dialogue inspired by one of my tweets:
“So taking a little more from people who really arn’t gonna miss it so people (like myself) who are really gonna miss it is wrong?”
Yes, it is wrong. Why? Because it doesn’t actually work to improve people’s quality of life. If you take money away from “the rich” are you just reducing the amount that “fat cats” can spend on caviar and prostitutes? read more…
My friend Howard Bloom alerted me to a conference that will be taking place this weekend in Los Angeles.

Do Not Blog About Something If You Haven’t Adequately Studied It. Why is This a Hard Concept?
There are a whole lot of things that you won’t find me blogging about anytime soon. Global warming. The stock market. The war of 1812. Beethoven. Hinduism. Scientology. French cooking. The list can and will go on into infinity.
And there’s a simple reason for this: if I haven’t adequately studied something or at least begun to study something then I don’t pontificate on it in public. I might have an opinion or lean one way or another but I don’t think I can make definitive statements about something based on wikipedia entries and youtube videos.
Apparently my friend Lisa Graas disagrees with this intellectual approach.
Via Mediaite, hat tip to The Right Scoop and Kathy Shaidle:
Statement from Phil Griffin, President of MSNBC:
I became aware of Keith’s political contributions late last night. Mindful of NBC News policy and standards, I have suspended him indefinitely without pay.
As always, we encourage you to check out our “Meltdown with Keith Olbermann” Volumes 1 and 2 e-books available here in both PDF and Kindle format. Something tells me there won’t be any more installments in the series.
More soon we’re all sure.
Fair and Balanced? 5 Fire-Breathing Leftist Ideologues on MSNBC Vs 2 Journalists on Fox News
On MSNBC tonight covering the mid-term elections has been Lawrence O’Donnell, Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, Chris Matthews, and Gene Robinson. In other words: five fire-breathing leftist ideologues. Occasionally they featured guests (including fire-breathing leftist ideologue Ed Schultz.)
On Fox News tonight covering the mid-term elections has been Bret Baier and Megyn Kelly. In other words: two journalists. Ocassionally they featured guests (including conservatives Sarah Palin and Bill O’Reilly.)
That pretty much sums up everything you need to know about the difference between the two networks — as well as the difference between the Left and the Right.
