5. The Web Is All A-Twitter About Breitbart!
Andrew Breitbart does something remarkable and interesting on Twitter: he re-tweets the lame things that Leftists say about him. (For those of you who are unfamiliar with Twitter, when a user re-tweets, he or she forwards a tweet for his or her followers to see.) By sharing the salvos fired at him, Breitbart exposes the pettiness, outright stupidity, and lack of substantive arguments among many of the Left, not to mention their terrible grammar.
The anti-Breitbart Twitter attacks range from relatively mild…
@KathrynJScags: I’m still laughing at @AndrewBreitbart on @JoyVBehar’s show. He IS the poster child for hypocrisy and LYING. Wow, nice job Andrew
@sluggahjells: Just when I think @andrewbreitbart can’t get any creepier, he proves me wrong with an even more creepier profile pic.
…to all-out typically Leftist name-calling and rhetoric…
@progressteve: The tea party isn’t racist, according to racist andrew breitbart. [sic]
@WhiteRoseHaiku: @AndrewBreitbart I don’t think you’re in any position to tell anyone where to go or what to do, teabagger [sic]
@jackdawson33: @AndrewBreitbart Can u sign mine, “Keep fighting the good fight against middle class, poor people, and dems, AKA the only probs in the USA” [sic]
…to downright ugly…
@Liberal_Angel: @andrewbreitbart I saw your book at Costco today. I put every copy in the trash where it belongs.
@sk45202: @AndrewBreitbart conservatives are cancer.
@awienick: I’ve found that @AndrewBreitbart practices “Yellow Journalism” … wherein he pisses uncontrollably on every subject he touches upon [sic]
…to some tweets that are too crude to publish in polite company (Leftists love to put Breitbart and Sarah Palin together and use a vile four-letter word to describe them).
These examples are just the tip of the iceberg. I have a feeling that Breitbart shares these attacks with a certain amount of glee, reveling in the predictability and sheer lack of civility on the part of Leftists. You see, by going after him the way they do, they’re playing right into his hands, giving him the opportunity to expose them for exactly who they are.
