O’Donnell doesn’t want to admit this, because he, like all leftists, seeks to discover ways to plan women’s lives through left-wing fear tactics, which include falsely equating contraception with abortion.
Note to O’Donnell, contraception is not abortion. Equating contraception to abortion is the time-tested political ploy used by the Left to convince America PPFA is in danger of extinction by the GOP. (Notice O’Donnell ignores the Roe v. Wade ruling the GOP hasn’t won the battle against, because conservatives don’t dominate the Supreme Court).
And many conservatives recognize that oral contraceptives have uses other than about birth control. It is not the GOP platform to bar women from accessing medications that can control the symptoms of uterine disease. The issue at hand is PPFA’s sneaky taxpayer funding of abortion services and corrupt practices.
Even though the federal government prohibits tax dollars from directly funding Planned Parenthood, PPFA receives millions annually for other programs and services. As a result, this allows other PPFA tax funds to be used for abortion services. Defunding the hidden tax subsidies is not going to shut down Planned Parenthood clinics. Let’s be honest, there are many wealthy Americans who support PPFA who can certainly donate funds to an organization they support. Funding can, and should, be provided by private benefactors, not American taxpayers, who may or may not believe in abortion, and who don’t support PPFA’s institutional culture that allows for the cover-up of sexual abuse.
But the left-wing wire hanger hounds love the fantasy of revisiting the seedy filth of America’s dark alleys.
That’s what this is all about, Larry Dearest.
