Williams never voiced bigotry or racism against Muslim individuals; he articulated fears of Islamic terror. Schiller, on the other hand, voiced anti-Semitic beliefs while admitting he would consider taking five million dollars from men saying they were linked to the Muslim Brotherhood.
If Schiller had an ounce of decency in him, he would have immediately, upon hearing the men say they were linked to the “Muslim Brotherhood,” stood up and told the men to shove it. Instead, Schiller joked about NPR being a Palestinian outlet, implied Jews own all the newspapers, and said American conservatives and the Tea Party are a bunch of “white, middle America, gun-toting” racists.
Williams told Fox Nation that NPR “[w]ill say things to your face about how there’s no liberal orthodoxy at NPR, how they play it straight, but now you see it for what it is. They prostitute themselves for money.”
Pareene’s galling reply to Williams? “Juan is exactly right: They do prostitute themselves for money, because that is how capitalism works.”
No darling, that’s how the Left works.
Juan Williams proved he is willing to take a stand for what’s right, even if it gets him hated by the Left. Schiller was willing to consider money from men posing as terrorists. That doesn’t matter to Pareene, because Schiller “refused to take the fake check from fake Muslims,” so he should be let off the hook.
Ron Schiller sat with men alleging claiming to be terrorists and expressed support for Palestinians. Juan Williams never did that. And if Alex Pareene disagreed with Ron Schiller, he would not slam Juan Williams as the bigot; he would condemn Schiller and NPR.
This should cause Americans to stop and think about how dangerous left-wing ideology is–they hate Jews, side with terrorists, and are willing to fund terror at any cost.
Perhaps NPR should change its name to suit its ideology: National Palestinian Radio.
