Paging Darrell Issa: Investigate Eric Holder’s Illegal Gun Body Count

Mar 04, 2011 09:33 pm | John Hawkins

Sometimes in law enforcement, you’ve got to dangle a little fish on a hook to catch a bigger fish. That’s why undercover cops don’t always stop a crime in progress if it can help them take down someone much higher up the food chain. However, things can sometimes get a little ethically blurry when they try to find the right spot to draw a line. The ATF and Eric Holder’s Department of Justice may have crossed that line by knowingly allowing Mexican cartels to buy guns in the United States.

New Conservative Film “Never Let Me Go” Asks: Do Children Have Souls?

Mar 04, 2011 07:15 pm | J. Christian Adams

A few years back, National Review posted the “Best Conservative Movies” here. If it were published today, “Never Let Me Go” from 2010 might top the list, or at least sneak in behind “The Lives of Others.” It is a movie about a vile tyranny that fails to recognize the dignity of individual human life. It is as compelling as “Schindler’s List” or Orwell’s 1984.

Maddow-nomics: Have the Feds Hire Everybody!

Mar 04, 2011 02:30 pm | David Forsmark

What Rachel Maddow and her network cronies leave out of their analysis of the situation in Wisconsin is that Americans who work in the private sector are the employers of those who work in the public sector. And like any employer, they only want as many employees as it takes to get the job done. Having too many does not help your economy, it drags it down.

Left-wing op-ed columnist Frank Rich is leaving the New York Times. Fantastic. I can’t wait to see who will be taking his place, but in the meantime it is worth looking back at some of the richly absurd columns that Rich has written over the years.

Salon Calls Tea Party Protest of Jew-Hating Group “Anti-Muslim Hate”

Mar 04, 2011 12:30 pm | Lisa Graas

To discredit Conservatives, the Left is forced to resort to double standards in order to fake credibility where none exists. So it is with Justin Elliott’s coverage at Salon of a Tea Party protest against the Jew-hating Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) and Sarah Palin’s remarks regarding the Supreme Court’s decision on the speech rights of Westboro Baptist Church.

In Tennessee, the ‘Red-Green Alliance’ Defends Violent Jihad and Shariah

Mar 04, 2011 08:00 am | Center for Security Policy

Imagine a bill criminalizing only those individuals who knowingly engage in what has already been defined federally as material support for terrorist activity. Indeed, what if the bill were even more refined and targeted only the material support of jihad terrorist activity. Meanwhile, the bill in no way regulates or affects the peaceful practice of any religion. Who would oppose such a common-sense measure? Recently, in Tennessee, we’ve seen a ‘Red-Green alliance’ between the radical left and Islamists wound into hysteria over this very suggestion—that has, very plainly, revealed them as defenders of the jihad provisions in Shariah.
