The left-leaning Center for American Progress runs a blog site ThinkProgress where Frank Gaffney was ruthlessly smeared after being interviewed and subsequently misquoted. The deplorably sarcastic and untruthful report should serve as an open exhibit of the devious methods employed by leftists as they continue to trample the truth and promote the Muslim Brotherhood which is gaining disturbing ground, not only in America but globally.
Here’s what the report says:
Asked for evidence of infiltration at CPAC, Gaffney pointed to the presence of Norquist — indeed, they passed within 20 feet of each other at one point — and of former Bush Muslim outreach director Suhail Kahn, whom Gaffney also accused of aiding the Muslim Brotherhood. Asked for further evidence, Gaffney came up empty, saying, “I have not been here long enough.” The presence of Norquist and Kahn was “sufficient” evidence “to be of concern,” Gaffney explained.
The report then invites readers to listen to the interview. In doing so, the report is shown to be a complete misrepresentation of what Gaffney actually said. He did not come up “empty” according to the bald-faced lie stated. He explained that the evidence for infiltration started in 1999 when Norquist attached himself to one of the top Muslim Brotherhood organizations in America: The Islamic Free Market Institute, where Suhail Khan was put on the board. Gaffney said that this was an entry point for the Muslim brothers to work their way into conservative circles, the Bush campaign, the White house and the Administration. Gaffney further points out that they presented themselves as Republicans, conservatives, and as people beyond suspicion, stating that he has been warning people for the past decade about the workings of Norquist which created a dire division within the conservative movement.
When Gaffney said “I have not been here long enough”, what he was actually answering to was the question: “have you seen any other evidence of Muslim Brotherhood infilitration TODAY”? This vicious report intended to embarrass and discredit him in perfect accordance with those on a crusade to destroy the truth from being revealed.
The report goes on to mock Gaffney…….
Showing he was deadly serious, Gaffney warned that the Muslim Brotherhood “will kill homosexuals, they will kill feminists, they will kill Jews.” And saying the left “has the most to lose,” Gaffney complained that the progressives has “enabled” the insidious Muslim infiltrators by promoting equality and fighting Islamaphobia.
Indeed Gaffney nicely sums up his explanation that he is concerned about the consequences of people turning a blind eye. The lies and cover-ups perpetrated by the left and even more dangerously by conservatives wanting the Muslim vote is becoming gravely apparent as David Horowitz’s CPAC speech points out, of which he applauds the efforts of Frank Gaffney:
Frank Gaffney has been the courageous bringer of the bad news about Grover Norquist and Suhail Khan to the board of the American Conservative Union. Many good conservatives on the board have refused to believe the evidence of Suhail Khan’s Brotherhood allegiances and agendas…
Being the bearer of bad news and dire warnings takes courage and self-sacrifice, especially when being on the receiving end of vicious attacks spiked with propaganda and outright lies, levied by cheap agenda-driven leftists and Muslim panderers. It’s time for America—and the Western world—to wake up to the truthful warnings of Frank Gaffney before it’s too late.
