Bicker amongst yourselves about it. I'm moving in July. Done with this state, was stupid to move here. Make all the weak comparisons you want to defend California, but in the end, the facts speak for themselves.

Yes you may be right on that part but thats just a dream that most people wont ever achieve to live in San Diego. Why pay high taxes, high home prices, high gas prices, horribly high water bills etc etc.I moved away after 40 years and havent looked back. I hated the way politics have gone the higher and higher taxes and utilities. I make more money have my home paid for on 11 acres and enjoy vacations to where ever I want. And yes a even have a second home now in Hawaii, much better then the drab cloudy marine layer days in SD. California is over rated.

Californians are smug. Look at all these comments , it’s either your way or you play victims. Them there’s the d-bag who pulls his degree card like others actually care. Just because you have a piece of paper doesn’t make you right in every argument . I know so many people who have an over the top degree and not a lick of common sense, mainly because of their cocky attitudes. East has California done to help this country and not theirselves ? Environmentalist are one of the reasons we’re struggling compared to countries like China. Remember closing all the precious mineral mines in north CA ? Because of that Chinas become the biggest supplier now of the precious metals needed to make things like night-vision and infrared for our soldiers but now we pay 10x as much because we can’t be self reliant. Obviously not everything enviromentalist do is bad , I don’t agree with global warming mainly because somebodies getting rich off it and that alone tells you there no different than any conservative .

If you're going to attempt to sound smarter than others, you might start by actually reading what's been written.
I said absolutely nothing about green companies, you twit. I was commenting on the governmental policies that "greens" have convinced the government in Sacramento to pass for the last generation.

And in a vain attempt to convince you to remove your Democrat blinders, i defy you to show that I have any allegiances to any political party. Are you truly that benighted, or brainwashed, to think that the only people who think CA has been sold down the river are rich or politically motivated by naked greed?

My apologies. I normally look to see just to whom I am responding, and for some reason I didn't yesterday.

I have yet to earn my teaching certificate over here on the other blue coast (PA). But I have been getting educated far too much in the "education" of our youth. The fact that I come late to the game by a deuce of decades just upsets the instructors when I demonstrate the temerity to argue and deny their presumptions and so-called arguments.
Sickening goes nowhere nearly far enough.

I myself am there for the kids, as I suspect you are. They are the only thing I look forward to.

Yes, our schools stink, and I am a product of Crafton Hills Community College, The University of Redlands, and CSUSB. My son graduated from UCR, and Darden, MBA. I had three communist history instructors at Redlands, however they were great and were not punitive when students disagreed and argued with communist theory. CSUSB was another story. Half the English staff attempted to insult those who disagreed with their liberal views, and attempted ad hom attacks. LOL, they stopped when it was this personal attack was a logical fallacy. The Dept. Chair offer me a job as a lecturer, and was shocked when told "NO" I do not respect approximately half the English Dept. and named the top three names. Albeit, I do like and respect Rise Axelrod, Rong Chen, and Margaret Doan.
