The ACLU a defender of Mr. Khan? No surprises here?
“The ACLU is never going to change,” says WND Editor Joseph Farah. “It is an anti-American organization. It is a group that seeks to destroy all that makes America a unique experiment in freedom. It is an organization in league with all of America’s enemies. It is an organization that hates God, hates what is right, decent and morally upright.”
“If you want to stop the ACLU for once and for all,” adds WND Managing Editor David Kupelian, “you really must get this issue of Whistleblower. It’s got the information you need to starve this organization of the money it needs to survive – namely, yours.”
Every day, the headlines scream with some new threat from the American Civil Liberties Union. I believe it’s important to look behind the curtain and discover the origins of groups and organizations to better understand their activities.
The ACLU was founded in the 1920s by Roger Baldwin and Crystal Eastman, described as a “progressive” and “the perfect feminist.”
Earl Browder was general secretary of the Communist Party of the United States from 1930 through its dissolution in 1944. When the party was reconstituted as the Communist Political Association later that year, Browder was chosen as its president. Browder proudly proclaimed that the ACLU functioned as “a transmission belt” for the party. To deny the ACLU’s founding was attached at the hip to communist organizations is to deny what can easily be proven as truth.

David's point about a truly reformed member of an evil organization being driven to tell others about it was especially powerful. Clearly Mr Khan has no such drive. It's now up to the ACU to decide: Heads in the sand or wake up and smell the grass?

Of course Khan has nothing of substance to say. When stealth jihadists are caught, all they can do is deflect, divert, and obfuscate.

I would think Mitt Romney would be okay. I just read the Amazon free preview of Walid Phares 2010 book, The Coming Revolution: Struggle for Freedom in the Middle East. The book is rather timely considering what's going on in the Middle East today, and the Amazon preview includes a sizable chunk of the book. In it, he thanks Mitt Romney, and Romney's endorsement of the book appears on the cover:

"Walid Phares has been a pioneering scholar in raising awareness in the free world about the relentless threat of global Jihadism." – Mitt Romney

There's a lot of good material in the book. For example, as a scholar and a journalist, he documents the petrodollar corruption of US university Middle East Studies department, which meant that any studies contrary to the Arab narrative could not be published. He then explains how that prevented commercial publishers from doing the same because they would contact their "academic advisors", and then that affected journalism and politicians as they were advised by graduates of the same educational environment.

By the way, David, congratulations on a great speech at CPAC.

I've been listening to Rush Limbaugh for almost 2 hours. He talks about Egypt. He talks about the CPAC conference but he will NOT touch this story. Why?

David, no offence intended; really. This needs saying. I voted for George W. Bush in 2000 hoping he was different from his father. Come to learn later – having done a little research – after the 9/11 Muslim-terror attacks; after lie upon lie about Israel and Islam, Bush and his father are deeply compromised due to their long-standing lucrative financial associations with the Saudis. Much of what we now see in the conservative movement is the consequence of you and other conservative leaders (Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, etc.) carrying water for Bush even as he courted these dangerous people; even as he lied about our only ally in the ME and about Islam. I hope you and other conservative leaders learned a hard lesson from this. I fear most have not, foremost of which is Limbaugh. We cannot afford another Republican nominee like Governor Christie and perhaps Mitt Romney who had dinner with Christie in the governor's mansion late January. Any Republican nominee who courts Muslim Brotherhood activists as Bush did and Christie does, should be exposed; not coddled the way Bush was coddled by conservatives.

I heard this Suhail Khan for the first time the other day, debating Frank Gaffney on a radio show. Khan sounded like a liar on the radio.
