Who, you ask, is this man who Adhami refers to as his “beloved imam”?
Well, let’s see, Imam Wahhaj is an unindicted co-conspirator of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. He was a character witness for the defense in the trial of Omar Abdel-Rahman, “the blind sheik” who is now serving a life sentence for his role in plotting the 1993 WTC bombing. There are, surely, some nice things that could be said about a mass murder’s character, right?
Wahhaj has made it very clear in all of his sermons that he wants America destroyed and Islam to be built on its ashes.
Adhami is so enchanted with Wahhaj’s hate-filled screeds that he volunteered to design the Al-Taqwa mosque, from where Imam Wahhaj incites his followers with his wrath against the unbelievers.
Is choosing Adhami really the best Park51 can do to present a façade of Islamic toleration and moderation?
This is really turning into a tragic and pathetic sitcom. All freedom-fighters who want to put an end to this jihadist venture and prevent the triumphalist mosque from being built on Ground Zero must now join the fight. We’re dealing with the moral sewer here.
