An absolutely silly article! This is obviously spoken by a right winger yet for whatever reason they believe they know why democrats didn't vote for her.
In case you haven't noticed, it's typically the republican party who is in a tizzy about looks and race…oh yes and religion.
We, and I think I can speak for anyone who did not support Palin did not side with her, not because we think she is better looking or because she carries a gun but because she knows little to nothing about politics.
It's laughable that she would even try to run for any govornment job..

It’s simple just like Sarah! To be in a leading roll in our nation you should have some kind of intelligence, I would hope that everyone feels the same on this issue. I mean people please this is our country were talking about and the last thing we can afford is another Bush. Our nation which I love so dear has been brought to its knees by fools. I know I didn’t spend 8 years in the U.S. Army to see my country destroyed by puppets and puppet masters! Please people think before you vote!

Ultimately the abortion issue comes down to what your beliefs are. At what point do you believe the sperm and egg becomes a person? If the answer is at conception (which I'm guessing you believe) then abortions are wrong. If the answer is later (as I believe) then abortions before a certain date are not wrong. I'm not going to convince you and you aren't going to convince me. All that we can do is hope enough people agree with us that we can out vote the other side.

The only other thing I wanted to comment on was your abortion comments. It was the one thing that actually made me a little angry. You attempt to make the Dems out to be these arrogant "arbiters of life and death" when in reality, we are all arbiters of life and death. Every single person believes that they are right about who should live and who should die. Some people try to hide this by saying that they feel they don't deserve to have a say on this issue but in reality they are saying that they agree with what the society has decided. On this issue you just as arrogant as I am only you try to hide it and point out only my flaw. You are the true terror, the person who denies their own flaws but points out the flaws of others.

I used to be someone who spewed out whatever I was told by my parents and just assumed the general descriptions of Republicans and Democrats were acurate. Then I received a nice shock when I started mingling with Republicans who are intelligent and realized that not all Republicans are evil fools. Then I started mingling outside of my group of friends and realized a lot of Democrats are complete idiots. Your comments about guns and hunting bother me. I'm liberal (more or less) and I plan on owning guns, hunting, and taking a conceal and carry class (after which I will exercise my right to not carry a firearm). It's as stupid a statement as me saying all Republicans are gun wielding lunatics.

The problem with this is that the people who agree or disagree with you based solely on their political affiliations aren't going to change their mind by reading this. The only people who this can affect are those who aren't mindless idiots. Sadly this article does nothing to sway these types of people one way or the other. I read each of these arguments and think to myself "well you may be right but I'm sure plenty of people say that Palin wants to blow up the world but unless there is more evidence than 'trust me, this is what is right' I'm going to be skeptical."

This was an interesting article although it saddens me that the links to the evidence that supports your statements aren't listed. It makes it so that people who don't have as much time to search the web for blogs and articles can simply click a link and see for themselves whether your arguments have merit or not. The style of the writing and the response to it is pretty much exactly what the style and response would be if anyone who is willing to make broad generalizations and not give actual evidence were to write an article about this topic. That is to say, the people who already agree with you (Republicans) all congratulate you for stating the "obvious" while those who already disagree (Democrats) all scorn your stupidity. This leaves the rest of us (either Reps, Dems, or somewhere in between who are actually willing to not just be spoon fed whatever our party tells us) to roll our eyes and move.

I would like to add, the number one thing I ever hear pro-lifers say is "leave the choice to god. If you get pregnant god wants it, if the baby dies while in the womb, god must have wanted it". I'm not quoting any one in particular. But if they want us to leave it up to god so much then shouldn't people on life support just die? so it's okay to keep people on life support even "god" had another plan for them. mechanically keeping something alive against the will of "god" it better than mechanically killing something, the most of the time if caught soon enough doesn't have a heart beat. I believe abortions are personal business and all you haters should back the duck off. It's not your ducking choice what I do with my body, And If I am not ready for a baby or just hate kids I shouldn't be forced to have any because control freaks want to control what they think is right. One last thing Sarah Palin can call her self a feminist all she wants, but she would be living a lie. feminism is all about choice and freedom! Should we have a good ol' bra burning to get this message across again.
