South Park’s Top 5 Most Devastating Sucker Punches to the Left

1.  “Smug Alert”

This episode is by far my favorite. Not only do they lampoon the prideful hybrid car drivers, they also use this opportunity to bash the far-Left oasis that is San Fransisco. One day, Kyle’s dad drags him along to go give fake tickets to SUV owners “for driving a gas guzzler,” Upon realizing that no one in South Park “gets it” Kyle’s family moves to California where people are more “progressive.”

In San Francisco, everyone drives hybrid cars and are so smug they revel in the smell of their own farts. The children in the city are so messed up all they do is get high while their parents stroke their own ego. What happens is that the town is so “smuggy” that what once appeared to be smog is in fact “smug.” This triggers a pseudo-apocalyptic storm that destroyed many towns. San Fran eventually “disappears up its own a**hole.” In the end, no one drives a hybrid anymore because the can’t do it without turning into elitist snobs.
