The free-love feminists have robbed young women of their ability to reason by filling their heads full of dangerous and unhealthy values turning millions of young women, who could have become anything, into whores. (Cue sarcastic clapping.)
But the real indicator that Steinem has gone off her meds, and is letting the voices in her head write her columns is the claim that abortion helps combat infant mortality. Yes, Gloria, I guess there would be fewer babies who die of natural causes if you kill them first. And even worse, claiming that abortion helps stop the inability of children to bond and thrive. Again, it would be difficult to do either of those things … if you’re dead.
Then there is the always-nauseating attack on children with birth defects. This is especially outrageous in an article about Sarah Palin, the mother of little Trig who has Down Syndrome. Steinem is not-so-subtly insinuating that a responsible woman would have killed him before he was able infect society with his defect.
Her last sentence is in the running for the most evil set of words ever strung together.
[E]very living thing has the right to be born healthy and wanted.
Steinem’s article reads like an edition of Infanticide for Dummies written by a crazed eugenicist. Isn’t it cute how leftists, who love to throw around the slur “Nazi” when describing Tea Partiers, always end up being the ones espousing Nazi philosophies?
Then came the total crack-up. The “irreversible damage to this fragile Space Ship Earth.” Oh good Lord, Gloria, your spaceship called. It wants you to go home. It amazes me that there are women, who have been depicted in artwork over thousands of years as the bringers of life, who are actually more concerned about the environment than their own offspring!
This is where the bear analogy goes off the cliff. Grizzly bears are known for going to any length to protect their cubs. They don’t make appointments with butchers like George Tiller (currently residing in Hell) to have their babies ripped out of their wombs in pieces. Those with the awesome power to give life should not instead become grim reapers. It is unnatural. The womb of a grizzly bear is a far safer place for a baby than the womb of a feminist.
Sarah Palin has aptly named a movement of moms who would give their very lives in the protection of their young. These women embrace the gift of childbearing. They proudly stand up for life, liberty, capitalism, freedom, motherhood, personal responsibility, patriotism and every single thing Leftists hate. They represent the pioneer spirit that rests in the heart of America and value rugged individualism as they loudly proclaim, “Don’t tread on me.”
Sarah Palin is the worst thing that ever happened to establishment feminists. The mere mention of her name sends them shrieking into the corner, spitting venom. The idea that a beautiful, happy, mother of a special needs child, who is also conservative and beloved by American women makes them insane. Add that to watching her climb a mountain with her bare hands and old-school feminists dive for a cocktail of Prozac with a Xanax chaser.
Their fiefdom is disappearing. The reason Steinem is so desperate to steal the phrase Mama Grizzlies is because the Mama Grizzlies are reclaiming feminism.
