What a night for the Left.  So-called liberals in politics and the media would love to find a way to spin their sound defeat in the 2010 midterm election that won’t hurt Obama and the march toward big government.  Most have settled on saying, ‘well, it could have been worse.”  But the craziest spin award has to go to Arianna Huffington. Check out Arianna’s first tweet in response to the drumming Democrats got on election day:

ariannahuff: Word of the night — but one you won’t hear much — about why Obama lost: “Underreach!”

What?  Democrats lost power in the House and many seats in the Senate because Obama, Reid, and Pelosi should have done more?  Does the woman really think that Dems lost because people were angry that politicians didn’t march quicker to European Socialism?  Does Arianna believe that Blue Dogs who voted for Obamacare really lost because they didn’t ask to vote for full socialized medicine?

Election 2010 proved that people are fed up with the new change in America that Obama brought us.  People are sick of the fraud that is the possibility of a conservative Democrat in Washington.  Obama clearly had overreached and NOT underreached.  Mike Huckabee got it right on Fox News, “Two years of hope and change have been utterly rejected.”

The Huffington Post has always been on the Left but has never been considered crazy Left.  That might change with arguments like Arianna is trying to make.  I actually sent her a tweet in response warning her to change that spin or the Huffington Post would lose any credibility they may now have.
