They do it in Canada too:  that is, pull out abortion as an issue to demonize conservatives whenever desperation strikes to shore up liberal party support.  In the dog fight race for senate seats as November 2nd approaches, the Center for Reproductive Rights has released a timely promotional video denouncing the Hyde Amendment–which excludes abortion from medicaid– as callous and immoral, adding to the plight of poor women by subjecting them to cruel financial hardship in having to pay for their own abortions.

Support for the video’s message has included reference to anti-abortionists in congress as  misogynistic wingnuts and heartbreaking stories of financial hardship incurred from abortion bills. The video makes pro-life Republicans out to be anti-poor, adversarial ogres.  The accusation naturally follows that the Smith-Lipinski Bill, recently introduced by Republicans to permanently end all taxpayer abortion funding across all federal agencies, will only exacerbate the problem.

If anyone is anti-poor, it isn’t pro-life Republicans, it is the leftists behind pro-abortion groups with their hidden eugenicist agendas.  The founder of Planned Parenthood—Margaret Sanger—aligned herself with eugenicists and created The Negro Project in 1939 with the goal of exterminating the black population. A decade  before the Negro Project, the American Birth Control League had laid the groundwork for her in its establishment of a birth control clinic in Harlem:

Harlem was the ideal place for this “experimental clinic,” which officially opened on November 21, 1930. Many blacks looked to escape their adverse circumstances and therefore did not recognize the eugenic undercurrent of the clinic…

….being thought of as “inferior” and disproportionately represented in the underclass, according to the clinic’s own files used to justify its “work”

Sanger relentlessly pursued a class of thoroughbreds, enlisting the assistance of  both blacks and white elites. In We Must Breed a Race of Thoroughbreds, she wrote:

Such a plan would automatically reduce the necessity for public charities.  It would reduce the birthrate among the diseased ,the sickly, the poverty stricken and anti-social classes of society, elements unable to provide for themselves and the burden of which we are all per force carrying….

…these classes are now breeding much such uncontrolled fertility that they are a menace to the race.

Sanger’s efforts persist to this day among leftist elites, but under the pretext of humanitarian care for the poor.  This eugenicist agenda seeks to curb the cycle of poverty through the extermination of the unborn (predominantly Afro-American).  Abortion is the leading cause of death in the Afro-American community. Sadly enough, it is ruthlessly supported by many “progressive” black leaders, including Barack Obama as presented in this telling video.

True progress and legitimate feminism promote  making responsible choices, the celebration of human life, and education.  These attributes serve all women regardless of race and financial status.
