Air Force One (1997)
President James Marshall (Harrison Ford) gave a provocative speech challenging terrorists, telling them their tactics will not be tolerated as political weapons. President Marshall, however, is afraid the country may not have the guts to back up his powerful words. After taking off in Air Force One, the plane gets hijacked (an unthinkable event) and demands to have one of America’s enemies released from prison. President Marshall, an ex Medal of Honor winner, had the ability to escape the plane but decided to stay and defend the crew from the acts of terror he spoke out against. The terrorists were not negotiated with, were given zero leeway, and were taken down in a good old fashion passionate American take down. Again, the line was drawn, evil was defeated.
