Fox’s Stuart Varney had Congressman Gerry Connolly on the phone yesterday calling for an extension of the Bush tax cuts. Although Connolly corrected Varney when he referred to the Dems as the ‘Democrat Party’ instead of the ‘Democratic Party‘ (those leftists are hyper-sensitive about names), his split with Obama on the tax cuts “shocked” the Fox commentator.
Next up was Democrat Pat Caddell who called the leaders of the party “collective elite snobs” out of touch with the people. Speaking about the health care debacle Caddell stated “before this is over the health care law will be repealed.” At this point Varney mentioned another Dem in Oregon, Senator Ron Wyden, who wants his state to repeal the mandate contained in the law that forces citizens to purchase health insurance.
