9/11 Victory Mosque: GM of Al-Arabiya TV Warns NYC, Don’t Get In Bed With Jihad
I cannot imagine that Muslims want a mosque on this particular site, because it will be turned into an arena for promoters of hatred [that would be me just now], and a symbol of those who committed the crime. At the same time, there are no practicing Muslims in the district who need a place of worship, because it is indeed a commercial district.
Um … is this sounding familiar? But watch this. He destroys Obama and Bloomberg in a stroke:
Some Muslims will consider that building a mosque on this site immortalizes and commemorates what was done by the terrorists who committed their crime in the name of Islam. What could I possibly add? He sounds like Newt Gingrich. Heck, he sounds like me. Do I need to remind anybody of his credentials?
Whatever else is going on here, this is an object lesson in something that we hear repeatedly from Hirsi Ali, Nonie Darwish, Bridget Gabriel, Walid Shoebat, Walid Phares and I can’t think how many others who grew up in the Mohammedan regions and know the story from home. The twisted, mush minded appeals to sympathy, the phony appeals to western principles of freedom applied to the Mohammedan supremacists and jihaddists are strictly a western phenomenon — and specifically a western leftist phenomenon.
Those among us that are uncomfortable with the notion that we are at war with a hostile ideology, an ideology known as Islam, are continually reminding us that many, or most civilized Mohammedans are not interested in bloody warfare and the slaughter of innocents. We are told that we should listen to them. Well, here are the words of one of those civilized and cultivated Mohammedans. And lo and behold, he is telling us that Obama, and Bloomberg and the rest of the left are handing us a crock of you-know-what about the Cordoba Victory Mosque.
I’d say he’s in a pretty good position to know. Maybe somebody really should listen.
