Before being elected President, Barack Obama was a senator when Democrats controlled both houses of Congress. Obama voted for all the deficit padding bills (like TARP) he now likes to blame Bush for. Lame! And there’s the expenditures he urged as President, you remember, Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, Obamacare, Porkulus, etc, ad nauseaum.
Moral: Don’t cut off your nose to spite your face
So the next time some sanctimonious celebrity or hypocritical politician tries to bamboozle you with the whole ‘for me, but not for thee’ meme, remember who hold them to the same standards to which you hold yourself and your children. Until then, I leave you with Tio Chano.
