Are those people "lefties"? Not in my book.

Anyway, is the point to show that only the left has issues with race awareness, prejudiced language, an absence of colour-blindness etc? I'm a leftie and I'd happily agree the left is not free of racial prejudice. How could it be – nobody else is completely free of it.

It really shouldn't be difficult to find an equivalent set of people and quotes from the right (or from anywhere). You know this, of course.

More interestingly, is colour blindness an anti-racist position, or is it blind to racism? How could one identify a particular racism if one were colour-blind? It would be impossible? Racial *prejudice* cannot be equated with an awareness of racism, an absence of colour-blindness.

As a leftie this characterisation seems grossly unfair and obviously deeply partisan.
