#4 Chris Korzen, Executive Director, Catholics United
As head of Catholics United which dissents from even basic Catholic teaching, Chris Korzen’s primary mission in life is to get Catholics to vote for Democrats. Korzen co-wrote a book with fellow leftist Catholic Alexia Kelley of Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good, A Nation for All: How the Catholic Vision of the Common Good Can Save America from the Politics of Division. While claiming to be working toward ending division, the book propagates the falsehood that “common good” issues like poverty are on an equal plane with life issues.
Catholics United, funded in part by George Soros, was instrumental in the 2008 presidential campaign for Barack Obama. The group works to muddy up the waters in Catholic American political discourse, bringing confusion to Catholic voters about what is genuinely Catholic and what is not.
Currently, Korzen’s organization is engaging in a $500,000 campaign to help re-elect Democrats who voted for ObamaCare, landmark legislation that includes taxpayer-funded abortion. Ironically, Korzen claims that his intention is to bring clarity to politics for Catholics. To the contrary, while claiming to speak for true Catholicism with leftist media assistance, Korzen is a lay person who denies Catholic teaching on the Five Non-Negotiables. Chris Korzen is a key figure mentioned in the RealCatholicTV documentary Obama’s Counterfeit Catholics.
