This is not a “leftist argument.” I’m still mulling over my position on the decision to overturn Prop 8. Initially I leaned toward David Horowitz’s take — that a push for gay marriage should be done through getting majorities in states to support the idea — but now I’m not so sure. What do NRB‘s readers and bloggers think of Ted Olson’s arguments?
And this needs to be said too. It’s been the thought in the back of my mind throughout this debate: Why are we more concerned about this discussion of “gay marriage” and “civil unions” than the fact that gay people are being slaughtered by Islamofascists?
