Coulter took control of the interview and began talking about the lunacy of news organizations claiming members of the Tea Party called Congressman John Lewis the N-word when there was absolutely no proof of it. Coulter used the timeless and classic tactic of demonstrating absurdity by being absurd.
There is more evidence that you have a problem with kiddie porn. I have as much evidence for that as you do that John Lewis was called the N-word.
And, by the way, in fact, I have more evidence because there hasn’t been the press searching all over you, trying to find your problem with kiddie porn, and a $100,000 reward for anyone who can produce evidence of your problem with kiddie porn.
So, I have a lot more evidence that you have a problem with kiddie porn than that any Tea Partier ever called John Lewis the N- word one time, forget 15 times.
Sanchez was clearly furious and frustrated. He was clueless on how to respond.
COULTER: OK. You prove you don’t have a problem with kiddie porn.
SANCHEZ: No, no, I don’t want to talk about kiddie porn.
Sanchez ends the interview with what he thinks is a fastball that will leave Coulter with a swing and a miss. He quotes her for calling out Dan Rather back when he used forged documents to try to pull votes away from George W. Bush in the 2004 election. Does Sanchez really think the main news man of CBS News, with all its resources, is equal to a lone blogger? What an ignorant comparison. And oh yeah, Breitbart was using all the video he had from a source to point out racism in a low level government employee. Rather purposefully misled the American people in hopes to change a Presidential election.
Coulter won the day against Sanchez. I know it wasn’t a fair fight, but it sure was fun to watch. I hope Sanchez interviews smart conservatives every day on his show. CNN might end up being the most enjoyable news network on television.
