The public’s passive acceptance of anti-Semitism is what makes it possible for the British Prime Minister, David Cameron, to attack Israel the way he did yesterday. Breibart reports that Cameron made a statment concerning Israel in preparation for his meeting with Turkey:
Prime Minister David Cameron on Tuesday urged Israel to lift its blockade of the Gaza Strip, slamming the current state of the Palestinian enclave as a “prison camp.”
“Let me be clear that the situation in Gaza has to change… Gaza cannot and must not be allowed to remain a prison camp,” he said in a speech to a business association during a visit to Turkey.
What can account for such a distortion of the truth concerning the situation in Gaza? Once upon a time, a British prime minister would have been leading the charge against the enemies of the West, as Churchill had done. Now we have an Obama-esque PM who is attacking his own allies.
Doesn’t Cameron remember the 7/7 London bombings, or the February 3, 2006 Islamic protests? The Islamists were threatening death and destruction to England and all of Europe. Here are some direct quotes from those protesters:
We will bomb you, and invade your country, and take your women and wives as war booty!
Denmark you will pay, you will pay, with your blood, with your blood!
Bomb bomb Denmark! Down down Denmark! Bomb bomb Denmark!
Bomb bomb Germany! Bomb bomb Germany!
Bomb bomb France! Bomb bomb France!
Bomb bomb Spain! Bomb bomb Spain!
U.K. you will pay! 7-7 on its way!
The reality of these statements can only truly be felt by watching the short video of the protest.
The world is changing. The human desire to love and protect one’s country and allies from barbarians threatening death and murder can no longer be relied upon. The Matrix has been changed and our comfort zones are destroyed by the abandonment of perennial norms. Instead of Churchill, we have Cameron.
If Cameron does not have the honesty to refrain from disparaging the Israelis when they are under attack, perhaps the fear of the Islamo-Fascists, the same as those in London, will at least help foster some respect for a nation that lives and fights on the edge of the abyss.
