That’s right. A tiny democratic country of about 7 million people and an ally of the United States that has survived constant hostility against it must be disarmed. That makes sense.

There’s that word “massacre,” again. Jihadis and their radical Leftist allies set upon Israeli soldiers with knives and pipes, not to mention guns, and when the IDF defends itself it’s a “massacre.”
Anyone with two brain cells to rub together recognizes this for what it is, a vicious propaganda assault on the Jewish state and, thus, the Jewish people. The two are not so easily separated, after all. Israel is the Jewish state, contains almost half the world’s Jews, and has the support of the great majority of the other half. So, when one vilifies Israel, one is, in fact, vilifying Jews as a people.
So, again, speaking as a progressive American Jew, I want to know just why Mr. Moulitsas allows this to go on in his name? I want to know why Daily Kos, the largest political blog on the planet, and one devoted to electing Democrats, is seeking to harass and alienate its Jewish members? Why is this website, an allegedly anti-racist political blog, so comfortable with publishing hatred toward Jews? None of the above “diaries” represent reasonable criticism. It’s all pure hatred. And the problem here is not that Moulitsas is anti-Semitic, it’s that he allows Daily Kos to be used as a spring for anti-Semitism shrouded in the language of anti-Zionism.
So, just why does Moulitsas allow it to continue? Your guess is as good as mine. Perhaps he simply has no problem with anti-Semitism, as long as it comes from his fellow leftists. If that’s the case, and if his blog represents the base of the Democratic Party, well, then that means that this base is extremely comfortable with Jew hatred.
“Never again,” we used to say. Today I’m afraid that most leftists don’t care.
