Now in my read of this, Hill is not taking a Black Panthers pro-gun stance. It’s not like he’s arguing that blacks need to stock up on arms so that at some point they can kill whitey. He’s specifically emphasizing the need for poor black families so they can protect themselves from criminals in the ghetto.
Goodness. What is this? A political prescription informed by the actual nature of reality instead of how one wishes it was? Thinking like this won’t keep Hill in the Left indefinitely.
This isn’t the only sign of Hill approaching the world with eyes unclouded by utopian delusions. Follow him on Twitter and keep an eye out for when he tweets about parenting. Rhonda Robinson might as well approach him about blogging for In the Family Way given how sensible he an be on approaching raising children.
