Von Schlabrendorff spoke of the Resistance to the Nazis:
“Opposition to Hitler began, then, not as an organized political movement but as the reaction of individuals with religious and moral convictions to the theories, and later to the practices, of National socialism. Furthermore, Hitler’s earliest opposnents had enough foresight to imagine, at least to a certain extent, what would happen if this cancer of Nazims were allowed to spread and one day gain control of the country. This true patriotism roused in us the fervent wish to save our country and prevent the Finis Germaniae, which we felt certain would be the final result of Hitler’s regime.”
The Goebbels’s Times is the writing, or rather, the scrawling on the wall. Israel and the United States will confront the attempt of Left-supported Islam to completely replace our way of life. Like Hitler before them, the enemies of Israel hide nothing of their intentions to destroy her.
Schlabrendorff, a man who was brutally, inhumanly tortured following the failed Valkyrie plan to kill Hitler, speaks, not of a political uprising, but of the religious and moral convictions that inspired the revolt against the Nazis. Western Civilization is based precisely on religious, moral, philosophical convictions that are diametrically opposed to Islamic totalitarianism and to the deeply Antisemitic, anti-Christian dispositions of militant Islam. This choice is before us, we will have to contend with it, sooner or later.
While working with all our strength for the political means to check the ”blood-dimmed tide turning” against Israel and, ultimately ourselves, we can learn much from studying the works and the philosophy of our predecessors in the Resistance. We will only keep our freedom, and avoid betraying once-allied nations if we possess the same character and faith. This is the essential Resistance.
