Many of us have been a target of those hurtful, disgusting and inexcusable attacks from the left. I am of course talking about the group who feels that cherry picking a small grammar error in your article that miraculously renders the whole piece worthless. Anyone who has published an article that endorses center-right sentiments understands the laughable realm of the leftist grammar police.

The truth is, if the only argument against what you wrote is that “you forgot an apostrophe, idiot,” that only means you win.

Last night I turned on The Stage Right Show on Blog Talk Radio hosted by Larry O’Connor. It is an entertaining program and I tuned in to listen to Kurt Schlichter, an Army veteran, lawyer, contributor to Big Hollywood (and other “Big” sites) and one hell of a funny guy.  After lampooning Andrew Sullivan, the two were discussing Andrew Breitbart’s $100k offer which went as follows:

I’ve had $100,000 burning in my pocket for the last three months and I’d really like to spend it on a worthy cause. So how about this: in the interests of journalistic transparency, and to offer the American public a unique insight in the workings of the Democrat-Media Complex, I’m offering $100,000 for the full “JournoList” archive, source fully protected. Now there’s an offer somebody can’t refuse.

O’Connor and Schlichter began to discuss what would happen if the left got a hold of the emails running around the Breitbart camp or other conservative circles:

O’Connor: Often times I’ve sort of hinted around that there is a whole bunch of secret stuff that goes on in our email exchanges and all that stuff, only because it drives them [the left] nuts. Honestly, if someone were to hack in and get all of our emails, it’s really not that big of deal is it?

Schlichter: Well, we would get a lot of ‘don’t you guys have spell check?’ Lots of emails flying back and forth going ‘hey, could you not reply all?’ I would love to say that there is like a lot of exciting stuff going on, but it’s really more administrative. The process of revolution is about 95% administrative drudgery.

O’Connor: I’m really sick of getting that email that says ‘hey, douche bag is with ‘che’ not ‘she’

Schlichter: yeah, ‘There’s no hyphen in butt munch’
