Obama has angered the Left again: he’s not pushing Marxism hard enough while the G-20 Summit suggests lowering deficits and government spending.  The Left can’t stand the idea that Western governments might consider spending cuts instead of stimulus packages that will keep America and the EU in Western world-killing debt.

Heaven forbid the G-20 nations aim to reducing government spending by 2013. Pulling out of debt and saving nations from collapse means prosperity and the end of the Left’s much needed vote-grabbing, attention-getting, glamorized poverty.

The Left’s desperation for massive government spending is clearly evident in Andrew Leonard’s latest vitriol at Salon“The president’s call for more stimulus is ignored, at home and abroad.  Get ready for the great retrenchment,” he declares.  It’s dreadfully appalling to think Obama is back-pedaling at the G-20 on promises to overspend America into collapse:

The G-20’s declaration represents a failure for President Obama, whose warning that what the world needs now is more government-stimulated demand, rather than fiscal retrenchment in the face of a very shaky global economy, was rudely ignored…the U.S. is rapidly hurtling towards its own austerity regime.  If Obama really believed that it is not yet time to start cutting government spending, then why hasn’t he made a more forceful push for increased stimulus spending in the U.S.?  Why does he keep talking about his call for a three-year-freeze on non-defense related domestic appropriations?

The Left admits they want massive, crippling spending.  Heaven forbid America not spend itself into inflated debt and decline into collectivism, destroying America and the West.

According to New York Times op-ed columnist Paul Krugman, we need inflation and government spending:

Neither the Long Depression of the 19th century nor the Great Depression of the 20th was an era of nonstop decline—on the contrary, both included periods when the economy grew. I fear [we are] in the early stages of a third depression…this third depression will be primarily a failure of policy.  Around the world—most recently at last weekend’s deeply discouraging G-20 meeting—governments are obsessing about inflation when the real threat is deflation, preaching the need for belt-tightening when the real problem is inadequate spending.

Krug darling, FDR’s New Deal “failed to get America out of the Great Depression.”   Your leftist attempt to “drag [us] to [socialism]” by falsely claiming the Great Depression created economic growth is inadequate.  You want overspending, destructive deficits that end free markets, and job growth.  You want dependence not independence.

Krugman is aghast that Obama might follow the EU,  pulling away from Marx’s uneconomic insanity and enacting budget cuts:

The Obama administration understands the dangers of premature fiscal austerity, but because Republicans and conservative Democrats in Congress won’t authorize additional aid to state governments that austerity is coming anyway, in the form of budget cuts at the state and local levels.

Authorizing aid is leftist rhetoric for keeping low-income minorities and underdeveloped nations held down and poor.  Without that leftist dream, the West remains wealthy, poor nations grow, and free markets expand.

Andrew Leonard gallingly insists communists have it right:

Leave it to China to make some sense:

From the Wall Street Journal:

Chinese President Hu Jintao said, “We must act in a cautious and appropriate way concerning the timing, pace and intensity of an exit from the economic stimulus packages and consolidate the momentum of recovery of the world economy.”

He’s right, and so was Obama.

Communism is right?  Obama is wrong?  More proof  leftists seek  free market destruction.  Where would they be without glamorized poverty?

Are Obama and the G-20 ruining the leftists’ Marxist plans?
