One of the left’s favorite talking points these days is that “Glenn Beck’s TV ratings are down.”

Case in point: there’s a new anti-Beck book out, and a slightly hysterical article about it in the New York Post mentions “Beck’s enviable though declining ratings.”

But like so many things the left believes, this just isn’t so.

According to the decidedly non-partisan TVNewser industry site:

Fox News was down single digits in total viewers and the demo in May, but still maintained its dominance over the cable news pack. (…)

At 5 p.m. “Glenn Beck” was up +10% in total viewers and 25% in the [age 25-54] demo. (…)

Despite the declines in primetime, “Glenn Beck,” “The O’Reilly Factor” and “Hannity” were the top three cable news programs for the month.
