In Phyllis Chesler’s June 1st post “The Lynching of Israel: The Global Propaganda Wars Gather Force she comments on certain Jews who apparently hope to avoid the ruthlessness of Allah by turning on their own.

Maybe it’s the possible violence they fear, or worse, being  harpooned in the nasty fishbowl of public opinion.

Chesler opines that,

“Some Jewish-Americans believe that Israel only has itself to blame. And so they blame Israel before anyone else can do so—as if the Islamist mobs would spare such Righteous Jewish Exceptions from the kind of collective lynch mob-like fury that is currently taking place world-wide against Israel and that specifically took place on the Turkish boat Mavi Marmara.”

Enter Israeli citizen and Palestinian apologist Amos Oz. In his own June 1st op-ed in the New York Times, he states, with conviction, that,

“Israel’s siege of the Gaza Strip and Monday’s violent interception of civilian vessels carrying humanitarian aid there are the rank products of this mantra that what can’t be done by force can be done with even greater force. This view originates in the mistaken assumption that Hamas’s control of Gaza can be ended by force of arms or, in more general terms, that the Palestinian problem can be crushed instead of solved.”

Did Chesler see him coming, or what?

In a world where “Jews”, “Christians”, and the anti-religious secular left all want to toady up to the Islamic bullies, is it any wonder that the totally spineless “objective” media can’t bring itself to tell the truth either?

As the man said:

“God help us all.”
