President Obama – the man who said during the campaign that he and his supporters had “a righteous wind in [their] back” and who sees himself as the redeemer of mankind – claims that he is, actually, quite a humble fellow after all. He said this during an interview for an Australian television show:

United States president Barack Obama says he and Prime Minister Kevin Rudd share several personality traits – one of which is humility.

The US president made the comments to the 7.30 Report’s Kerry O’Brien during an interview which will be aired on ABC1 tonight…

“He was quite expansive and quite genuine on what he saw as the commonality and connections between [he and Mr Rudd]. One of which was humility,” O’Brien said.

Blogger JammieWearingFool comments:

Apparently he forgot to mention megalomania.

Thanks for the laugh, Barack, it’s much appreciated.
