As we foresaw, when we adopted the name “Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week,” the Left has reacted and guaranteed our success. The goal of the left is to suppress mention of the term Islamo-Fascism because for the left America is the enemy. Since the left is at war with America, it cannot afford to have the evils of Islamo-Fascism discussed.
The internet is abuzz with denunciations of Islamo Fascism Awareness Week and plans for disruption. The American-Arab Anti Discrimination Committee – a far left outfit — has written intimidating letters to the presidents of all the universities where we have planned events, trying to get them to preemptively cancel our events. Hardcore organizations like the Socialist Workers’ Party and the Revolutionary Communist Party (whose members physically attacked me at a speech last year) are organizing non-stop against us and have promised violent disruptions. Accordingly we have assigned bodyguards to our main speakers and alerted campus security wherever we are planning to go.
The lesson is clear: the left will welcome and defend the “free speech” rights of the Iranian dictator, Ahmadinejad, a murderer of American troops in Iraq, but will go all out to try to stop a discussion of Islamo Fascism itself.

I caught David’s Cracking of the Heart on CSPAN over the weekend.
Wonderful and moving. It brought tears to my eyes.
Total solutions be damned! Tikkun Olam should be reinterpreted to mean heal yourself and do what little good you can for your familly, your friends, your country and the world.
The left in many ways hold fascism principles w/o the religious aspect of Islamo-fascism. Mayb that's
why the left trys to protect them. They are 'kissing cousins.'
Why not use the term Islamo-Communism since the Communists are often allied with the Islamists? There's no difference between Communism and Fascism anyway. Totalitarianism by any other name would be just as cruel. For that matter, Islamists could be called Islamo-Nazis. Let's not forget about Hitler and the Mufti. Islamo-despotism would work, too.
Sure, Islam-Fascism has a certain ring to it but other terms would work as well.
I hope the universities continue to support free speech.
I will also keep Mr Horowitz safety in my prayers.
