I'm not at all convinced Obama was as stunned by the content of Ryan's articulate argument (after all, he's heard it before) as he was by Ryan's ability to communicate so brilliantly without a teleprompter.

Keeping one's eye on the ball, it's good to remember Obama is a far left Progressive…He is not interested in the health and well being of this country or her people. He is one powerful individual in the Progressive Movement. His primary goal as POTUS is to irreversably start the ball rolling toward a global redistribution of wealth. He is willing to sacrifice a second term and will throw anyone who gets in his way under the bus. Socalizing health care is a giant step forward for the Progressive Movement.

Rep. Ryan had the facts straight and ideas formed articulating the argument against the
Obama colosus in such a clear way that it made for a picturesque shootdown at and of the
Democratic columbary. Remember the housing fiasco, American taxpayers put on line to pay
off debt created by government force and intimidation of banks so that people that did not
qualify for mortgages could get them and it almost crashed the entire economy. The same
economic thinking underlines Obamacare. Rep. Ryan seriously hurt the Democrats and
if honest people pay attention to the facts they may avoid paying for the destruction of
health care in America. Obama wanted the limelight but got the spotlight, kudos to Rep. Ryan.

The Dems. were general low on substance and quick to avoid dealing with the issues brought up by the Republicans who outclassed them as REAL legislators, rather than party liners. Thanks, Republicans for sticking up for the ideas Americans hold dear which are being totally ignored by this irresponsible administration.

We heard that. And then the Right Scoop folks cut the rest of it off, doing exactly what Republicans have been doing through this whole Health care debate. I thought Republicans didn't care about a balanced budgets or silly little things like Deficits.

Bravo Rep. Ryan, can I call you Paul? You had your section of the debate down pat and pointed out the gimmicks perfectly! Who, in their right mind, can say "Well the "doctor fix" is not part of the cost of this bill." when it's actually paid out somewhere else? That is sheer stupidity and yet the Dims think it's sound financial reasoning. I wish the rest of the Repubs had their facts in as good order as Paul. Sen. McCain started off well then petered out in mentioning the "giveaways". He should have had the full list as published here and MM's page before he stepped into that room! Again, cudos to Paul!
