If I ever needed a reminder why I stridently campaigned for John McCain, this interview with Dr. John C. Drew, acquaintance of “Barry” Obama at Occidental College, would suffice.

Sure, we’ve all got a few skeletons in the closet, particularly those awkward, inebriated nights in college dorm roo…ah, what?  Never mind.  Point is, people change.  But, has Obama? His campaign and first year as President indicate slight moderation in rhetoric, not ideology. (Although the statement, “When you spread the wealth around it’s good for everyone,” is decidedly not moderate.)  One wonders where he’d take us if he had zero checks and balances holding him back from fundamentally transforming America. Thank goodness for the party of hell-to-the-no.

See here for John Drew’s Newsreal piece on meeting Obama and his own ideological evolution from Marxist to active Republican.
