Meghan McCain: Intolerant Progressive Blocks Her Critics on Twitter

Posted on February 15 2010 1:13 pm
Michael van der Galien was born in the Dutch city of Leeuwarden in 1984. For as long as he can remember, he has been obsessed with the United States. When he was 17 years old, he started blogging - of course about America. His articles have been published at Big Hollywood, Pajamas Media, Hot Air (the GreenRoom) and Right Across The Atlantic. He's also an editor for the Dutch conservative blog, De Dagelijkse Standaard.

I always love how progressives pretend to be tolerant, but become the most obnoxious intolerant dictators the world has ever seen when faced with criticism, no matter how mild it may be. Case in point: A while ago, I criticized Meghan McCain, Senator John McCain’s daughter, for calling herself a “progressive republican” and for saying that “revolutions start with young people.” Oh, that and for being the out of touch leftist elitist snob she really is. Being a new yet passionate Tweep (is that the word to describe someone who loves to tweet?), I tweeted my distaste for this Britney Spears of politics as well. The result? Well, when I tried to “follow” her today (to keep track of all the progressive things she and her merry band of leftist warriors love to talk about), I saw that she had put me in her Twitter gulag:

Senator McCain can be quite proud of his little daughter: she has become quite the Stalinist already.
