Alabama shooter a crazed, right wing extremist… oh, wait

The George Soros Steno Pool, a.k.a. Media Matters, had lots to say about the 2009 murder at the Washington, D.C. Holocaust Museum — until the shooter turned out to be a 9/11 truther who hated “neo-cons.”

Media Matters is now observing radio silence regarding the recent mass murder at an Alabama college.

Usually, leftists shamelessly use events like this to call for more gun control. Not this time. Maybe because the shooter is what the late novelist Dominick Dunne, in a very different context, called “an inconvenient woman”:

A family source said Bishop (…) was a far-left political extremist who was “obsessed” with President Obama to the point of being off-putting.

Ooopsie!

Being a Canadian, and therefore, well-acquainted with school shootings (our first contemporary one predated Columbine by almost fifteen years), I think the solution is obvious:

We don’t need gun control. We need school control.

Anyone "obsessed" with Obama is off putting. lol

She will of course turn out to have some sort of trauma in her life that was CAUSED by right wing Neo Cons….presumably George W. Bush, and THAT will be why she went all wonky.

The college was a "gun free zone" which shooters see as "safe, target rich environment". When was the last time you heard of a mass shooting at a gun show?

  3. February 15, 2010

For liberals, it will always be, the object that is to blame, in this case the gun always commits the crime,
it's never the shooter. That's why guns must be banned, and not criminals.

The far left in this nation is easily the biggest threat to its exisistence. They denigrate the traditional culture that created this nation, built it, and nurtured it to greatness. Now hiding under the label “progressives”, these people are infinetly more vile and arrogant than any right wing fanatic could be. They have had such luminaries as people who bite off conservatives fingers at Town Hall Meetings, physically attacking people and defacing churches, as leftists did during the failed vote to legalize gay marriage in California, and so on and on. Just listening to Air America, the leftist program that mercifully went off the air a few weeks ago, also proved how vile, filthy mouthed and deceitfull leftists, in general are. Also, they have a lock on all the Ivy league and other big Universities, which have become hotbeds of leftist propaganda. Just my opinion you understand.

Badaboo – just hold your horses! What in hell has pitching for third parties have to do with the price of tea in China? – in this case, the whacked out professor who didn't get tenure. She could have come from the Left or the Right, but it's small comfort that she was a Libtard of the first water. No, her psychosis began, apparently, years & years ago – as, too, perhaps, did her political psychosis….

politically speaking , she wasn't an anything Joy , you try to sound a-political but "libtard " jumps out of your mouth . you infer psychosis but qualify it with "political "

What do you call that Joy ?

I guess I'm missing the point here – Isn't the point of discussing this issue about the icenident, rather than the political leanings of the shooter? Was she out to intentionally kill as many as she could, or was she looking for a specific target. In either case – Why? Does she have something chemically wrong with her brain or is there a physical problem, such as a turmor? Who gives a rat's left hind leg what her political views are? BTW – I'm an independant…

    • February 16, 2010

I guess you did miss the point, which is not about the shooter or shooting, but rather about the hypocrisy of Media Matters, et al., in *their* politicization of such incidents whenever they can slap a "right wing" label on the guilty party.

Media Matters is the head of the snake, they forced out Dobbs, what KILLS me is that many of their hard core journalists (Monitor creeps) are Jewish, and they act like NAZIS, and Media Matters is like the Elite SS. It does not surprise me that they are right out of DC. I believe they work FOR the Obama admin.

…and several fell into it lockstep Thermidor9 , for it seems the very point of bringing it up to begin with , atleast here , was to imitate the bad taste displayed by media matters .

OMG, the ceiling just fell in at Media Matters. A Progressive used a gun. What is the world coming to. Oh, never mind, it had to be George Bush's fault and the fact that her mother put grape jelly on her peanut butter sandwiches instead of strawberry.

It appears upon closer study that "Dr." Amy Bishop spent five years at University of Alabama-Huntsville trying to palm off academic dreck as scholarly research and achievement. It may be that her muddled approach says more than enough about her state of mind and personal thought processes. As a personal view, I find such muddled thinking typical of the progressive mind that can sit right down next to empirical truth and deny its existence. That said, here's a link to a thoughtful analysis of "Dr." Bishop's academic endeavors that — while long — is both interesting and enlightening. But you probably won't have to read very far to get the point. Go here:____http://afamilyofshepherds.blogspot.com/2010/02/is...

Media Matters seems to be no more than an anti-Fox News blog. Wow, I only wish I held such high aspirations.
