Every time I see NBC replay Olympian luge athlete Nodar Kumaritashvili’s fatal crash I get a sick feeling in my stomach and a chill down my spine. I don’t think I can count the number of times NBC has chosen to replay this horrific footage of a tragic death.
They really need to stop showing the video immediately. There’s no reason to continue reshowing it like they’ve been doing. If anyone needed another definitive example of our media’s moral bankruptcy then this is it.
