A specter is haunting America – the specter of a people rising. From one coast to the other and across the great plains, Americans are waking up to the threat from a leftist elite that is determined to fundamentally change the American system, push through a socialist agenda, and make every citizen dependent on the state. The Obamamachine has already spent trillions of tax-payer dollars to finance a takeover of the American workplace and to stifle the independence of the American people. But America is a resilient nation, bred on the frontiers of individualism and enterprise, and built on the principles of private property and individual freedom; and the resistance to their socialist plans has already begun.
In May 2009, just five months into the Obama administration, the people of California launched a tax revolt in the biggest spending state in the nation. So reckless were the leftist Democrats who run California (and have done so for more than half a century) that its deficit alone was larger than the budgets of most other states in the Union and of many of the nations of the world. Leftwing politicians don’t cut budgets; they propose new taxes. And California’s leftwing legislature did just that. But thanks to a constitutional amendment put in place by the California electorate through the state Initiative process, California legislators can’t raise taxes without a two-thirds referendum of the people. So they were forced to hold a special election in May to appeal to the electorate to pass five new ballot Initiatives to raise taxes.
But when the votes were counted, all five tax-raising Initiatives had been defeated by 60% margins. Even in San Francisco. A sixth Initiative designed by tax opponents to punish legislators who do not balance the budget passed by a more than 70% margin. Even in San Francisco. If one of the most liberal states in the Union is saying no to the soak-the-public philosophy of leftwing legislators, Obama socialism is in big trouble. The revolt in California quickly spread to the entire nation through the efforts of the Tea Parties movement, the most innovative, exciting and powerful grassroots force in the history of American conservatism. It is vital to the health of this country that the Tea Parties movement grows. More to the point: it is essential to American survival that the Tea Parties movement succeeds. On the eve of the 2008 presidential election, Barack Obama said “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming America.” The Tea Parties movement is the American people saying no to Obama’s plans for revolution.

The Left thinks that the Tea Parties have gone away. We haven't. We've simply refocused our efforts – at the state level. On January 18th the largest group of citizen-lobbyists EVER (2300 people) lobbied their state legislators in Richmond, VA to promote the Virginia Health Care Freedom Act and the Firearms Freedom Act, both designed to protect the rights of the citizens of the Commonwealth from the overreach of DC. On Monday, the VA Health Care Freedom Act passed the Democrat controlled Virginia Senate with 5 Dems crossing the aisle to do the right thing. Passage in the House of Delegates is almost a foregone conclusion. Both bills are designed and written to confront the federal government head-on and to reassert our 10th amendment rights. And over 20 other states have similar legislation in the works! The nullification begins!
Dear Concerned Patriots: We must stop the Statist Madmen. The coming elections will surely help slow them down but we need to stay engaged with every movement that clogs up the Big Government Machine now and forever. Hoyt
Obama and his minions think they're smarter than us lowly citizens, and know how to run our lives better
than we can. We will show them that their hubris is unsustainable. This govt will find out that their true
power comes from the consent of the governed, and not by their decrees and mandates.
Obayme needs to be put down to a place where he is made to realise that he is a servant of the people.
The lecturing attitude and the "I'm such a good salesman I can sell you a bag of rotten apples" approach has got to stop, he's become an embarrassment, change your ways Obayme or you will inherit the title of "the worst president ever".
He doesn’t have to finish his term to be considered the worst president, he already is. Ususally history is the judge of such matters. This is not a usual situation.
In reading this excellent writing I saw a startling truth which hit me head on in a new way.
Even though aware of Socialist/Communistic doctrine for many years and seeing through
Obama, I was shocked again to see the awfulness.
Here we have a situation where the resources and wealth of our people are being used,
in effect, against us to bring us into captivity under Socialism. This isn't just Obama and
his cohorts taking improper government rule; this is taking taxpayer dollars – from the
American citizens – and using it blatantly for our destruction.
Case in point: The AIG bailout. Now we are learning more about what really happened.
It is too complex to break down here, but in actuality the government now owns about
80% of AIG after the bailout by taxpayer dollars. The bailout money ultimately went to
other entities to pay off debt owed by AIG to them. One of those was Goldman-Sachs.
Our money is being used to buy up businesses, banks, etc. so that they can be owned
not by individual Americans but by the federal government, which is rapidly being
morphed into Socialism. We are being destroyed by our own wealth, stolen by this
administration. OUTRAGEOUS, GHASTLY, and WICKED!!!
This has to be a swindle immensely greater than anything Bernie Madoff could have
ever dreamed up.

That is quite an amazing observation. My mom and dad left Croatia then(communist Yugoslavia) in 1960.
While growing up in Toronto, Dad would often glance through my high school history books looking for the chapters on Stalin , Lenin, Mao, only to end up ranting about how in hell they weren't teaching us about communism. When Obama came on the scene, it took one Obama speech for my dad to claim "this guys a communist" and it wasn't anything in particular he said it was the platitudes, and typical leftist phrasing he had heard as a child in the villages, when Tito's apparachiks came around speechifying for hours, sounding smart with zero substance. Thank God for David I can't get enough of the Restoration Weekend video's I have seen all of them several times. My Dad always used to say that the west was so naive, and had no clue as to what the left was doing to infiltrate. I have been watching the conservative movement since the 2008 campaign trail , glued to the internet waiting searching for the truth to be laid bare, and it is finally happening, you can't take the John Wayne, the frontier, out of the American psyche just like that!
