Democrat Grayson Leaps From Reality on MSNBC, Says Obama Suffering From Stockholm Syndrome
Appearing on the Ed Schultz Show last night, Rep. Alan Grayson (D) displayed the turmoil and progressive dysfunction associated with failure to pass the leftist agenda. Erupting in cognitive confusion Grayson lept over the edge of reality as he reacted to President Obama’s appearance before the House Republican Conference, declaring Obama and Democrats ”have been held hostage” by Republicans this past year!
“The White House has been so accepting of the Republicans, for so long, and the fact that they just won’t vote for anything, that I was beginning to think the White House was suffering from the Stockholm syndrome. Their agenda’s been held hostage for a year now“
Wow! A Republican stealth super minority, and the President bonding with his legislative captors? You can’t make this stuff up.
It was the People, not Republicans, who voiced outrage at the willful reckless behavior conducted by Congress and the Obama administration. And the opposition to Obama’s policies has been far more bipartisan than its support.
Until Scott Brown’s win in Massachusetts this month, the Democrats held a filibuster-proof majority in the U.S. Senate and a 79 vote majority in the House of Representatives. And they still do! Democrats are illegally permitting Paul Kirk to vote so they can pass their agenda. Acts such as this, late night backroom deals, pay-for-vote schemes, lack of transparency, and the use of Alinsky tactics to push their radical agenda have led voters to reject the Democrat’s rule in Virginia, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.
I don’t know what virtual reality Grayson’s been living, but it’s obviously not the same as the rest of America. Perhaps it’s not Obama who’s suffering from psychological phenomena, but the Democrat Congress who need the reality check. Check out the video below to catch progressive dysfunction in action.

Grayson missed his true calling. He should have been born a century ago. He could have been a hit on the vaudeville circuit. Unfortunately today his shtick is a silly burlesque, except without a seltzer bottle, a good punchline and a buxom pretty girl.
His collar is too tight. He has no blood going to his brainbox……..What a moonbat…..
Grayson wouldn't know the truth if it was the only option he had
These people are nuts!
As the piece points out, the commiecrats have had a filibuster proof Senate and complete control of the House since January 2007, plus the presidency. They could have passed anything they wanted and republicans couldn't do a damn thing about it. But they are fully aware that what they want is not popular with the electorate and in many cases unconstitutional. They want some republican fingerprints on their crap to provide them some cover and be able to say it's bipartisan. They purposely shut republicans out of the negotiations. They did their negotiating (deal making with more conservative democ-rats) behind closed doors. Then they want the republicans to sign on. What a bunch of scumbags.
VN VET–
Sir, you have summed it up PERFECTLY in one all-encompassing paragraph. Wish I'd said that!
You are correct, sir! Har har har!
Ed McMahon
Good summary VN Vet.

Many of us sort of assumed that a 'crazy Obamagenda' would get stopped in its tracks early on by a Congress that must answer more directly to the voters for their actions. It's somewhat surprising that Democrats jumped in with so little caution.
as an aside, Jeb Bush, who has nothing to do with this piece, is making noise about the need to work together with Democrats when we get a new president (hint hint). This reminds me of the other Bushes. Republicans may not get another opportunity to so clearly define themselves apart from the Democrats and D-goals/motives. I'm hoping for a conservative presidential candidate who makes a point of confronting the opposition ideologically as opposed to muddying the waters with more "bipartisanship" nonsense that helped enable the current march to the Left.
What's really sad however is the number of Americans who will believe him; that the Republicans are holding the Democrats (leftist) agenda hostage…
Ed's lead-in was funny–Congressman Grayson, your thoughts…Ha ha ha.
But, maybe this is a signal that the Democrats do fear what could happen to their agenda should more Americans become wise to their true ambitions. Not that it will change anything within them but it may signal a slowing of their progress.
Court jester Grayson was seen dancing around the Obama throne tossing confetti and screaming
"take off your shoes you are on hallowed ground", Obama tossed him fig nutron kookies as a
reward. How dignified our Congress is, makes Democrats want to go out to vote, vota again and
often. Just what is in the Obama crumbs is the mystery of the day, One pound of meth flour,
two cups of sour grapes, one cup of sour milk and plenty of mixd nuts and boingo eat and be
multiplied, trip on the Obama vision, spread the dope. Warning on each package, "never no never
ever listen to a voice of sanity". Remain dopey.
We have to revert to the truism that government is the problem not the solution as Reagan stated decades ago. The belief that we need government to answer every personal problem has so permeated a mammoth majority of American's psyche (see Europe) that we must address this false, irrational premise. Idiots like Grayson don't need to be personally vilified as they do so in their own words.
Do we really want politicians, bureaucrat and collectivist economists "managing" our economy? Evidently those on both the Left and Right accept this absurdity as a given. Can anyone say they are right of center if they complain about what the government is doing to increase jobs (note that few mention productive jobs or productivity, the engine of economic growth). Conservatives of today are actually to the left of Classic Liberalism.
It is overdue that we enact a "Balanced Budget Amendment" and Congressional Term Limits as this is a first step to starve the bureaucracy and reverse bureaucratic intrusion into our personal lives. Self-proclaimed Conservative should re-examine their basic values.
FLORIDA…PLEASE do your civic duty…Grayson has to go!
Obviously the American voters are so sick of watching idiots like him go on t.v. and blatantly lie about the reason for Obama's lack of success with a SUPERMAJORITY that they are punishing fleeing the dems in droves. To be fair, all dems are not this stupid BUT, since he keeps getting on t.v, they are looking bad. I think someone down in his neighborhood put out a website about him being crazy and embarrassing his constituents. My congressman is nuts.org or something along those lines. Can't wait to see if his latest cowardly rantings are on it.
He is such a jerk. I can't stand to look at him. People from FL – wakeup, you put this dumb A** in congress. Anybody that voted for this stooge should be embarassed to the bone. Has he made any logical statements since arriving in DC?
The Economy is growing at a rate of 5.7%. The Economy was shrinking under BUSH.
Democrats do not now and did not have a "veto proof" majority…67 votes. Democrats do not and did not have a filibuster proof majority 60 Votes. When Obama took office Democrats held 58 seats. Now 59 seats.
At least let us be truthful before we attack a GROWING economy.
Maybe you should consider retaking some math and business classes Randi,
The economy is not growing, the GDP went up in December just as it does every December due to companies liquidating or writing down inventory, so that they don't have to pay taxes on it, this happens every year, The economy will be growing when the unemployment rate reverses its self.
And it seems history also eludes you as well as the fact you didn't bother to read the article or interjected your own thoughts, The author said FILIBUSTER proof Senate, not VETO proof, the Senate has had a filibuster proof majority since Franken was seated, and the House has had a Dem. majority since 2007.
Randi, Randi, Randi…..You are playing liberal semantics games now. Are you suggesting that Obama would veto anything that was put in front of him by a leftist controlled congress? Democrats did not have 60 seats? Oh, you're correct, we are SO dumb. You don't know what a caucus is do you? You think because Bernie Sanders and Joe Lieberman are (I)ndependents, the democrats didn't have a majority. Are you really that stupid? Yes, indeed you are. That explains why you think that a quarterly increase in GDP indicates a growing economy. Did you know that 5.7% rate is in fact an projected rate, not an actual rate? No, you didn't. You went to OFA.org and read some talking points. Then you trolled over here to drop a grenade of BS. That's why you haven't responded, you can't.
Even though he is a toxic mouthpiece for the brainless that chose to believe the lies of this administration, I for one am happy when he speaks and it becomes all too clear that he is the problem and not a solution. He is a great selling tool for voting them all out this year. It is astounding to see the confluence of so many pathological liars demanding that even though every fiber of your being knows that they are liars and cheats, they demand that you just shut up and believe/obey them.
Amen.
Hey look, a page full of republican scum. Keep sucking the Fox News tit while we rebuild our country now that the rednecks are done pissing on it.
Let's hope not because your reply indicates a severe inability to debate the issue. Oh, and by the way, if you read the article you would've realized Grayson's comments were made on MSNBC, not Fox.
Read the article? Why would a troll do that? All Josh needed were talking points emailed to him from OFA/the executive branch.gov. He then copy/pasted them in this comment section and collected his 12.50/hour as an "intern" campaigning for change.
I am a native Floridian from Tampa, not from Orlando where this goon was elected….he is an embarassment to Floridians with any sense and pride for our state…….he needs to be booted….do you hear that Orlando……he was in Tampa recently with Obama, I think Obama was embarassed….I cannot believe that his behavior, and lack of professionalism has not been noted by the house……HE NEEDS TO GO………HE IS AN IDIOT
