Fans of the late Howard Zinn swarmed Twitter Wednesday, mourning his death and fantasizing about President Obama honoring the Marxist propagandist during the State of the Union address.
LilianaSegura: In a just world, Obama would use his platform tonight to honor Howard Zinn.
banditelli: If Obama doesn’t mention Zinn in the SOTU tonight I’m quitting the democratic party.
scottlearns: If there isn’t a #SotU shout-out to Howard Zinn, Obama will have betrayed progressives.
Betrayed by an unjust world, perhaps they can console themselves with their dog-eared copies of A People’s History of the United States.
