“Swemson’s Subtitles” are intended to function as a truth filter offering a translation of what Obama’s words really mean, what he really believes, & what he’s really planning to do for to us and our country. Those who disagree with these translations are encouraged to comment, and offer their own interpretation of what he was really saying.

Obama just said:

“After nearly a century of trying, we are closer than ever to bringing more security to the lives of so many Americans. The approach we’ve taken would protect every American from the worst practices of the insurance industry. It would give small businesses and uninsured Americans a chance to choose an affordable health care plan in a competitive market. It would require every insurance plan to cover preventive care.”

Swemson’s Subtitle:

“After nearly a century of trying to screw up the best healthcare system in world, we’re going to finish the job by taking control of the insurance companies, and then WE will decide who gets what kind of care. So forget your dreams about a competitive market. We’ll break the insurance companies by requiring them to cover far more of your care than you contracted for, and then the only competition that will be left will be between the various government agencies to see which one gets the biggest share of your paycheck.”
