Michael van der Galien was born in the Dutch city of Leeuwarden in 1984. For as long as he can remember, he has been obsessed with the United States. When he was 17 years old, he started blogging - of course about America. His articles have been published at Big Hollywood, Pajamas Media, Hot Air (the GreenRoom) and Right Across The Atlantic. He's also an editor for the Dutch conservative blog, De Dagelijkse Standaard.

As announced on Twitter and here at NewsReal by our very own Managing Editor David Swindle, I will liveblog today’s Glenn Beck show. The reason: after I live blogged last Friday’s show, many of you asked us to liveblog Beck’s show regularly. And because I live to please you, our readers, I’ll watch Glenn Beck with you tonight. In fact, I’ll do so regularly from now onwards.

Starting February 1 I’ll live blog this show every single day. As if that’s not enough, otherNewsReal bloggers may very well join. Ain’t that fun?
